Okay, so for Christmas, we always go to my mom's side of the family in Indiana, which is about an hour and a half away from where we live, Chicago. So my mom's family wants us to stay there from the 23rd to about th 27th. We have two dogs. One we have had for 6 years, and one, we have had for less than one year, and that this is his first Christmas. My mom's uncle does not like dogs, and said we can only bring them if we take proper care of them. That will be super hard because they are house trained. We could leave them in the kennel, except for the newer dog is extreemly attatched to me, and he gets very upset when he doesn't see me for a while. The other dog could care less if he didn't see us for a while. The older one is a Maltese, and the younger one is half Chihuahua and half Yorkie. And this is the Yorkie's first Christmas with a familly. What should I do?

Okay, of course it's that time of year again, where we buy presents for our friends and family and sometimes we have no idea what to give. So here is my question, I just made friends with this guy in my school. He's 17 yrs old and I have no idea what to get him, obviously. I don't really know what his interests are, so does anybody have a good idea of a good basic present for him? That he would like? He likes computers and sci-fi stuff but that doesn't lead me to anything of what he would like. Plzzzzzz help!!!!

I'm at a loss as for what to get for my brother. He's 10 years old. He's into videogames, but I don't want to buy him another game for Christmas. I want to find something that will get him to learn, but he doesn't like books or sports at all. I don't want to get action figures or legos or anything like that for him, because he already got them for his birthday. My mom and I were concidering a drum set, but we're not sure yet. Any ideas would REALLY help me. Thanks

i'm a full time student and mother, so i dont really have time to look for/get an actual job. looking more for something like foolproof crafts or something and ideas/ways to sell them?
i'm a makeup artist and i've tried advertising online on craigslist for that, but to no avail.
no i dont have random junk to sell on ebay and don't have the regular access to do a "work online" scheme, even if i did trust it
ahhhhhhhh
stress!
this will be the first christmas that he can actually unwrap gifts (he's about a year and a half) and i'd like to have gifts for him!

The boy loves to play and laugh. He's very fun, but I don't know exactly what he likes.
The girl is a little lady, and likes to help out in the kitchen and stuff. What's a good gift for these two and not too expensive?

My worst would have to be when i was at school......

I received a smelly coat hanger, which was so old the flower smell was stale and the hanger itself was mouldy.

My mate once received a salad fork and that was it...i think this year she is hoping to get the other fork to go with it, or maybe the bowl.

I buy gifts for our local Christmas Charity group that wrap-up new toys and gifts for those families in unfortunate times. I have younger kids figured out, polly pockets, hot wheels, barbies etc. but what about a little older kids/teens ? And by the way, I'm not so fortunate as to give them game systems or ipods... I need some ideas in lower budgets...so that I can buy more and spread it further. Are there book sets I could give ? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
