you mean the "exclamation" mark. It is situated to the top left of your keyboard, just above the number one. To be able to type it you have to press the shift button (the one marked with an upward pointing arrow and nothing else except the wide white arrow and which can be found to the left bottom of your keyboard or right bottom just above the button which is marked Ctrl for Control)
Press the shift button and the number one and the exclamation mark appears. Its called "exclamation" mark because it is used when we "exclame" something out loud, like a complaint, or a shout or something which you want to emphasize.

The exclaimation mark is over the 1 on the US keyboard. Hold down SHIFT and press the 1 Key at the same time, then release both....as for the explination mark, I have no idea where that would be.

Same key as the figure 1 - but press and hold down 'shift' key (the one marked with an arrow) before hitting EXCLAMATION mark!!!

Hold down the shift key (the one with the up arrow on it) and press the "1" on the top row. This will give you a !.

on mine its on top of the number 1. You will have to hold down the key (arrow up) to enable the exclamation point.
