They're naive idiots. Unless you have a full-proof plan, drive there an hour b4 the store closes on Thanksgiving, start camping in front of the door, bring sandwhiches, play cards, enough money, everything to keep you content b4 the store opens the next morning. Wake up 2 hours b4 he store opens, pack up all your supplies, tell someone to put away all the camping gear back in the truck. Grip your hands tight on the door handle, and join the crowd by saying, "Open, open, open." It's pure stupidity, and yet I still don't understand why people do that. I don't think it's worth it. Just shop online, you can wake up anytime you want, you don't even have to shower yet, and you can multi-task. Or a week b4 Christmas where there's less people at the stores.

Habit. I work Monday through Friday, 7-3 and I get up on my days off at 5 or 5:30. It's just habit. Some do and some don't.

we were up and at walmart by 4 waiting for them to cut the plastic on the items we wanted, we actually managed to get everything we wanted and a few items we hadnt planned on. This was the calmest black Friday I have ever experienced, unlike last year when me and hubby both got hit by the same lil ole lady with her buggy flying through the aisles

I'm used to getting up early in the morning for school, so that's why I'm up and feeling tired.
