I guess it would depend on what you're wrapping. Are you wrapping the first issue or the confirmation for the subscription? Either way, find an envelope that it'll fit into and then find a small box the envelope will fit into. Get some packing peanuts and a few marbles, small bolts and/or small rocks. Put everything in the box and wrap it. The subscription is now wrapped and the box will have some weight to it and make noise when they shake it...and they always shake it.

depending on what type of magazine subscription here are some ideas : airplane mag place in envelope hanging from the bottom of the plane when taking plane out of the box; train magazine place the subscription envelope inside a train car; car magazine try placing envelope inside a toy car; firearm subscription place envelope inside the barrel of a toy gun; golf wrap around a miniature club; fishing try wrapping as a bait hanging from a fish pole; hope these give you some ideas and if subscription for a lady well a subscription to a home type mag a small house or cooking utensil.

Wrap the note explaining the subscription in a little box... then wrap that in another box and that one in another box and so on and so forth till you have about 7 boxes wrapped beautifully, one inside the other.
So fun to watch the recipient open these !!!
Another way would be to put the note describing the subscription INSIDE a balloon filled with helium. The recipient will have to pop the balloon to read what they received!

does he subscribe to any magazines that cover his favorite activities? A magazine subscription is a great gift that lasts all year....... you could buy the current issue and wrap it with a note saying, I subscribed you to this magazine? What about something to keep him organized? if he has gazillions of games dvd's, what about an organizer. That way they are all at his fingertips and not scattered all over the place, make sure to buy one that has room to expand his collection........ Hope that helps, was trying to give you different ideas that weren't already mentioned, best of luck shopping!

For a girl i would buy a tiny yet sweet gift basket for bath & body works. You could simply put the superscription paper with a little bow inside the basket. For a boy a small box with a bow will do fine.boys tend to like simple things.

If it's a single issue, I'd say put in a large tube and slightly roll up the mag. That way the receiver will be clueless. Or you can put in a box with other presents.

Well, I dunno how creative this is, but I think it is neat:
But the subscription paper in a small box, then put that box in a larger box, and so on until you reach a decent size. Then wrap the largest box.
I think that would be a fun thing to unwrap. I dunno, maybe it is a dumb idea, but I think it is cool.
