No, it is his way of testing us, to see how bad we really want to be Christians. This year, he hid the stand for my pre-lit tree.
I DREAD getting the lights for the other tree out of the box, it will take me a week to untangle them!
God made us, and we have a sense of humor. Since we are made in his image, well, God must have a sense of humor. Another way to look at it, look at the human race, sometimes we are just a big joke!
I just wish he would show his humor on some other holiday, like Valentine's day. he could put exploration holes in all of my chocolates, just leave my Christmas lights alone.

Historical records prove that there was a portable generator in the manger. The cords were all child proof. Let us not make light of this sensitive issue, but stay in accord of religious teachings.

Did you not know that Jesus invented the garden hose roll up thingy ,which is great to roll up all those cords of light so they don't get tangled?

Any day of life is a great day to celebrate. Enjoy the chocolate bunnies and easter eggs. Think about all the good words that Jesus spread to all of us and the pain that he went through with his crucification. Mostly have a little faith!!!

Well, they had the Star of Bethlehem to light up the night in those days, no cords needed there.

And he would've made it easier to buy myrrh....but that stuff comes from commiphora myrrha trees, which, as I'm sure you know, is native to Somalia and the eastern parts of Ethiopia. Do you know how hard it is to get that stuff in the U.S? I've got gold and frankincense up the wazoo...but I'd kill for a little myrrh.
