If you like the idea, what do you like about it?
If you dont exchange or wish you did'nt have to, why do you feel that way?

If you started school in the late 70's early 80's what Christmas songs and carols can you remember, for example do you remember "the cowboy carol" or the "calypso carol" mostly from assembely or music practice. There is one particular one that i remembered until last year. I know i will recall it when i see the words or title, but until then i will just go quietly mad.................
go on, write some down.............thanks

I think so, it seems to be all about the gifts and spending money money money. The holiday doesn't seem to hold its true meaning anymore. Americans look forward to this holiday all year long, and I think it's a bit ridiculous. What do you think?

You fly around one day of the year with nine horny friends delivering gifts, and you have the rest of the year off. Even if he flies after drinking too much eggnog, he knows he won't be pulled over. It sounds like easy sledding to me.

I love receiving Christmas cards, so I decided to send them out this year to my family and friends, and I'm putting a picture of my son in there. Do you do this too? When should I mail them?

I'm getting something for a Senior, from a Sr. Center with a gift giving program at our Curves.

The person I picked has items on her "wish list" that include something Irish.

I have seen some sites that sell Irish themed gifts, but they're not necessarily made in or actually from Ireland. I would prefer to buy something actually from Ireland.

Otherwise, I'd like to make something with an Irish theme, like a food item or something.

Anyone Irish?

are there stores that give out tickets/#'s where there are only a few items in stock instead of alowing customers to get hurt trying to get to one?wow.. it is unbelievable what some will do to get one/hitting and grabbing it out of your hand if you manage to get the item.I think the buisness should bear some responsibility in how these 'door crashers' are presented..........as for me never again.Happy Hollidays?........

OK... let's pretend that you can celebrate Christmas in either one
of these two ways... first, with friends and relatives of a past time in your life when things seemed to be 'just perfect' 'OR' second, celebrate it now with the family and friends you are currently with.
Which would you choose and why?

Half of the new strands of lights I bought last year do not work. Do the companies make them this way? Is there any steps I should take to make sure they work next year? And yes I did check to see if they blew out, that isn't the problem.

My best friend got taken away from her family. Her stepdad is crazy and my friend is home schooled. Her step dad did NOT WANT HER TO BE HOMESCHOOLED!!! Her dad also HATES HER OLDER BROTHER. So he called Difus. He told them that Her brother was sexually mallesting her younger sister. He thought that all they would do was take her brother to jail and they wouldn't let her be home schooled anymore. His plan back fired and they took the her and her little sister to foster care. Her mom used to have a mental problem but by the grace of God, she was healed. But the court held that against her. They treated her mom like she was crazy and her step dad like he was a god. Now she is back in the WORST SCHOOL IN THE STATE and even if she gets to go back home, she's not gonna be home schooled. Her mom said that when and if she gets her back, they were gonna move to another state!!! I'll probably never get to see her again. Please help me deal with this situation and also please pray for her.

Here's a little dilemma: usually, I get my girlfriend a nice Christmas present. Last year, I got her the Victoria's Secret satin bathrobe; another year I took her to a bed & breakfast in Vermont, etc. The question is, what is something nice and romantic to do this year? Here's the catch: I am a little short on money this year. Well, not exactly, but I'm going to propose in January. I'm saving up my money (and some romantic ideas) for the proposal, and I've run out of ideas for Christmas! Thoughts? Thanks!
