You sound like such a thoughtful person! You also seem very well-spoken. You should write her a poem or a nice letter telling her why you appreciate and love her. You could make a frame for it, or if you have a tiny bit of money, you could buy a premade frame at a craft store for under $3 and decorate it.
You could also take a picture, or have a picture taken of you and siblings/pets/dad/other important family member.
I am almost 26 and my mom still prefers the handmade gifts, even when I have money to buy her something nice.

this idea does cost a little, but it's worth it! i made it for my mom once. ok it's ablankey u get some sloth at a store like micheals or a store that sells things fro arts and crafts. u choose how big u want it or what color u want the blanket to be. u will need to pieces of cloth. so u put one on top of the other and cut 2 little slits then the 2 pieces that u now have u tie together now u have a knot.(this is hard to explain, but very simple when actually done)so u then just do that all around the entire blanket, all sides. IT should look like this picture (the knot part, on the sides) EASY!!

When my son was 10 he made me a apron, He had my sister help him. She cut a piece of material into a square, and then she had him cut a large long strip of material enough to go around he waist. That's where my Sis came in She was his Model. She then told him to turn up the sides and the bottom of the apron and pin, Now she had him sew all three sides . Then she helped him to put the next piece on across the top and sew that. She choose a solid red material, and got him paints and he did the decoration on the front of the apron, She also cut out a pocket and had him sew that on.
I can't tell you how thrilled I was. Everyone that came in I showed it to. He is now 43 and I still have it Falling apart but in my eyes the most beautiful gift I ever received/.

Make her a coupon book. You can have various coupons that she can redeem at any time, such as you making dinner one night, or you doing the laundry some day, or you doing the dusting, a hug for your mom, you spending time with your mom. Use your imagination and you can think of a lot of things that you can make a coupon for and then all she needs to do is to redeem them with you when she wants you to do the thing on the coupon.

A photograph album with family pictures in it...or a scrapbook with photos and mementos, a poem that you have written or one that means something to both of you that you have hand-lettered. You could add a letter telling her what she means to you. I can guarantee this would be something very special to receive.

Why not a memorabilia album of photos and clippings of your family. She'll love the sentiment and all those great memories it will recall to her. And it will take you many hours to have it look real nice. Good luck!

Maybe you should take up knitting, you could find a book at your local library, or have someone who knows how teach you. Then you could make her a wonderful gift!
