Holidays - February 2007

Valentine day is only a few day away so please help!?!?!? We've only been together for a few weeks so i am completely new to this.

Ok so im 17, lets keep it within reason. For Christmas i gave her a 2 paged love letter. I dont know if i want to continue that or do something new. It needs to be special and Verrrrrrrrrrry crafty!

Last year was my first valentines with my fella, and I have always wanted to go to Monkey World in dorset (yes,i know, its weird, but i love them monkeys!!)
On the morning of Valentines, he woke me up with breakfast and a rose and said i needed to dress warm and get my walking shoes on. I did as I was told, and 4 hours later, after driving 200 miles, I arrived at Monkey World.
I was ecstatic to say the least!!!
To top it off, he had arranged for someone to go into our house while we were out, and run a bath, filled with rose petals and candles and put champagne on ice.
It was absouletly magnificent, and the best day of my life.

How about you, whats the best thing anyone has ever done for you on valentines, or any other day for that matter?

For Valentine's Day, me and my lovely boyfriend are in school all day. SO... I thought about writing him a poem and cutting it up into pieces and putting each piece in a balloon and leaving them in his classes randonly all day. So, when he gets to class, he'll get another part of my little poem/love letter. I think it would be cool, but for a guy? I'm not making it super flashy or anything, so it's not like he's gonna have attention drawn to himself. I wouldn't embarrass him in front of the guys. : P. Then we'll spend the afternoon and evening together and well... It will be fun. But I want to show him how much I care in a simple, original way.

Okay, so I've been trying to think of somethign totally original to get my bf for Valentines. What do you guys think of this:

He is not from LA and he has a favorite beer, however you can only get it in his home town, so I was going to get 3 packs and have them shipped to LA (shipping is EXPENSIVE) and wrap them up and get the fancy beer glasses to go along with. ...and then was going to get him season one of his favorite show on dvd.

..what do you think? Good enough?

On Valentines Day.. We don't live together so I can't surprise him when he gets home or anything like that...We already have plans to go out to eat at a nice place, but that's about it, and I don't think he has anything planned after that. I was kinda wanting to do something romantic for him instead. Any ideas? Oh and we both live w/other people so we really can't go crazy w/the bedroom games, just b/c of the close proximity of our roommates! I need some new ideas! please help!

hey guys,
I am 17, going to be 18 in march and year after year its the same crap on valentines day or night that everyone who has someone goes out with them and sometimes when my friends want to go out and they make me join them. I feel as if i am a third wheel to everything.its just really sad.My friends and i have grown up with me through the years and we would always hang out together no matter what holiday.now that we are getting older, everyone has someone and i am alone and its kinda sad. My friends tell me that its not any different year after year but for me it is, they have boyfriends or girlfriends that get to sit with them and what not and i am just sitting there watching them have a good time and i always feel alone.Well this year i dont really want to go with them even though they are begging me too, but i dont want another sad valentines.There was this guy that i really liked this past summer more than any guy that i ever liked before, but it didnt work out, what next?

She's only about 25 but she's still young at heart. She likes hello kitty & tinkerbell. She is just very difficult to shop for.
