Last year was my first valentines with my fella, and I have always wanted to go to Monkey World in dorset (yes,i know, its weird, but i love them monkeys!!)
On the morning of Valentines, he woke me up with breakfast and a rose and said i needed to dress warm and get my walking shoes on. I did as I was told, and 4 hours later, after driving 200 miles, I arrived at Monkey World.
I was ecstatic to say the least!!!
To top it off, he had arranged for someone to go into our house while we were out, and run a bath, filled with rose petals and candles and put champagne on ice.
It was absouletly magnificent, and the best day of my life.
How about you, whats the best thing anyone has ever done for you on valentines, or any other day for that matter?

I dont really like V day much, but the best day ever was myself and the man I truely love just went out for a quiet drink. We sat at a place that had an awesome view of Sandton. We didnt have much money, and in fact had to borrow some just to go out. He bought me one rose. The point was we were together and I was so happy.

Oh that is so lovely, what a guy you have, the best Valentines day I have had is every single day I've been married to my hubby, he makes each day feel like Valentines day for me, hes a sweetheart, we don't do Valentines day in our house cos everyday is filled with love, but for my 40th birthday he got me a golden retriever, I have wanted one since I was 7 years old, he even put a huge red ribbon loosely round her neck to make her look even more adorable and I just love her so much, for my 50th birthday this Christmas he got me airline tickets to go to Australia to see family that I haven't seen for over 25 years, how lucky am I to have him, he is the best hubby in the world and I love him to bits.

My man and I were both hauled in to a rehab or mental institution if you prefer - both broke - drying out actually - and on Valentines Day he walked in to the female ward and delivered my card and flowers from where I still don't know. But I will never forget how caring he was at such a hellish time. Both sober now tho' and you have just prompted me to make Valentines day brilliant for him this year.

So many have done so many wonderful things over the years.
Oddly enough my best valentine's days were when my mum and gran were still alive. Everyone got presents and Gran had a dinner party for all, because it was her birthday.

Well, I don't have a relationship and never have. All of my friends always get something for Valentine's Day, an I don't. I really hope that this year someone will give me something. I really like this guy, and I think he likes me, so I'll tell you how it goes!!!( I'll e-mail you so make sure that you are allowing that)
