Whilst on holiday I like to sample local delecacies. I'm off to Morocco next week where they sell kittens as a delicacy at markets. Is this taking it too far, or should I bring plenty mayo with me?

I have my fiance coming from california and is the 1st xmas I will have with him. It is also the last xmas I have with my family as I am relocating. I have tried to cover my shift at the hospital but no-one wants to work xmas day, I understand that. What do I do? I either go to work and have my family be upset, or go and spend the day with my family-call in sick and ruin the day for everyone I work with>?

I have a wonderful daughter who is 15 years old. She always gets good grades, she has started a dance team at her school and she has attened a School of the Arts on a scholarship for the last eight years in dance. She takes pictures for the school website and she helps everyone she can. She has tutored kids at school and she helps at her church.
The problem is we don't have money for any christmas presents this years. Between the house payment, the house insurance, the car insurance and the utilities (both insurances fell due in december this year) and her father not paying child suport, we are broke.
We make too much to get help from community resources or the salvation army but we don't make enough to do anything for her this year.
She says it's okay, that she understands. But it's not okay and it breaks my heart. She is such a wonderful kid, she helps me more than she should have to (I have fibromyalgia) and she helps everyone else too.
Please, if you can, help us help her

my friend mentioned that she wanted a tv for xmas/bday gift.. well i did some browsing and of course can't find anything good to fit my budget which is $130.. would it be appropriate to just get her a $130 gift certificate to maybe best buys or circuit city and she can fork in the rest. there isn't anything else i can think of to get her..

A non Christian teacher complained that it was somehow discrimination, and so now during Christmas, we are not allowed to put up a tree or to decorate our rooms. Do you think that this is fair that because of this one person, the rest of us have to be deprived of the joy of Christmas decorating? i don't know about you, but things have really gone too far now. I mean, I would have no objection if this person wanted to put up decorations for Hannuka (He's Jewish) What's your opionion on the matter?

At work ...there's this gift exchange thingy... and I got to give our group leader a present... I have no idea what to give her ...I wanted to give her a funny card I saw at Spenssers(I dont' even know if that's how it's spelled) but yeah... cause we gotta give a little card before we give the gift... I saw this card that had Santa on a toilet... and it said something like Ho - Ho _ and inside it said "Ho-lly Sh**!"
I thought it was really funny.. but the lady seems to be thoe angry type ...that can't find a joke funny :'( which is stupid and sad cause I thought it was funny.. should i still give it to her ? haha ...and I gotta get her a 30$ one ..what cang i give a lady that has a bad mood and no sense of humor?? ...and is also consided?? < I did a spelling check on that word!!
