At work ...there's this gift exchange thingy... and I got to give our group leader a present... I have no idea what to give her ...I wanted to give her a funny card I saw at Spenssers(I dont' even know if that's how it's spelled) but yeah... cause we gotta give a little card before we give the gift... I saw this card that had Santa on a toilet... and it said something like Ho - Ho _ and inside it said "Ho-lly Sh**!"
I thought it was really funny.. but the lady seems to be thoe angry type ...that can't find a joke funny :'( which is stupid and sad cause I thought it was funny.. should i still give it to her ? haha ...and I gotta get her a 30$ one ..what cang i give a lady that has a bad mood and no sense of humor?? ...and is also consided?? < I did a spelling check on that word!!

Hmmmmmm Id say give her the card and maybe buy a wicker basket and fill it with bubble bath,scented candle,scented lotion, a new pair of jammies, and maybe a cheap bottle of booze! That way when she is relaxing in her bubble bath and feeling all the tention melt away she will know u r the one responsible for it! Some people like that just r harder to get to know! Give her the card totally! Or just get her a big ol bottle of schnapps! A male nudy calendar? How about a nice candle set? Gift Certificate to a nice restaraunt? Lottery tickets? Cute little jammies with a funny saying on them? How about fuzzy slippers like snoopy or winnie the pooh or such? EVERYONE likes fuzzy slippers and nice cozy jammies! Lots of folks dread the gift exchange because they are really hoping for something "real" and end up with a piece of garbage. I think the gift card is a little lame because it implies that you are simply exchanging money with each other and also that you don't care enough to put some thought into the purchase. Buy something for her from a large department store, maybe from the gift department. A lovely item for the home. Be sure to include the "gift receipt" and she'll happily exchange it for something she really likes later.

That card sounds funny, but since you don't know the woman that well, you don't want to offend her. Maybe get her a magazine subscription (many of them are not expensive). A gift card if you know what type of store she would shop at. Bookstores have a lot of choices for every type of person, maybe you could around and see something that might fit her taste. Not necessarily a book, but a day planner or calendar, something like that. Good luck!
