why do people doind the stupidest things like getting pregnent at the age of 16? its not cool! and why is everyone killing everyone else? we're going to run out of people! (lol) why is our prezident so stupid?! ( again lol) and why does everyone in the whole word have a myspace? its really not that cool, is it? and why are people so ignorent? why do they think they know everything and everyone? STAY OUT OF PEOPLES BUSINESS! anyway, why do parents kill there new born babys? if you didnt want it dont have it you dumb ***! in general WHY ARE WE SO STUPID AT MAKING DECISIONS?

We've been classified as lazy, fat, stupid, stubborn, racist, hicks, everything else in the planet. Why do people hate the US so much? I'm raised in a European family who loves and embraces the American culture. I am not overweight, stupid, racist, and my stubborness is that of an average teenager. I've lived in Europe and America, and I love both societies. Why does the rest of the world choose to hate us so much and decide to hate the American people as well as the country?

Sometimes, I can understand. We're a fast-paced, commercial society that's one of the most powerful in the world. Our foreign policy is frankly ridiculous, and the current government has made some MAJOR mistakes. But is that justification for hating all of the American PEOPLE?

Comments from anybody? I'd like to hear from people from around the world. And please keep it clean and intellectual. I don't want any comments that just spread hate. Back up your arguments with reasoning.

My last name is "Hu". It's of chinese origin, you know the current president of the PRC has the same last name.

But the problem is, the pronunciation is ambiguous in english. People say "Who" (then they proceed to make the 'knock knock' jokes) or "Hue". The correct pronunciation is similar to the former but I would just like the change it all together.

I thought about:

Hugh, or
Hughe.

But I think that misrepresents my identity a bit because I am not caucasian at all.

I also considered ambiguous last names like:

Floy or Fox

So anybody got some good suggestions? I would really like a last name that doesn't mean anything or denote any race.. like "Steve Jobs". Johnson and Smith names are too "white for me".

i've seen black folks who were in there mid 80s and they looked to be in their late 50s or early 60s. i've seen white folks who were in their mid 80s and they looked their age. i've noticed it with several ppl, whats the reason?

Most Asian parents (working class and upper class) work very hard to save their money to send their kids to good and expensive colleges.

I always want their children to get good grade and go to college to be doctors, engineers, business men.

I am Asian. When I was younger, I always heard--they are saving money for my brothers and I to do to school. We are working class. We are living in a small house. My parents have the same car for 10 years. However, my parents don't mind pay for us to go to college in America. I will have a Master Degree. My little brother will have an engineering degree.

I am just wondering what do you think? Please advice.

Why is it that people from other countries are always getting on Americans for everything? Not speaking enough languages, acting ignorant, stuck up? I don't get it especially the language thing. I don't understand why people say Americans need to learn more languages, and that Europeans know three to four. OK, they live next to many different countries that speak many different languages America is next to Canada and Mexico, so excuse us dumb Americans for God having us born in this country, and it seems to me that in other countries they speak their language soley. In some countries the only reason they speak another language is because the govt. requires it. Everyone is always talking about how ignorant and judgmental Americans are, but aren't they doing the same thing by judging us? I don't know who died and made every other nation the voice of reason. It is just so hypocritical. Does anyone understand why we (Americans) are just soooooo dumb? Cause I certainly dont.

I recently encountered an individual in the U.S. who, upon being informed that I was Ukrainian, responded... "Oh, Russian. You're pretty pale for a Russian." For fellow Ukrainians and Russians alike, this statement is hilarious on two levels. One being the most obvious, Ukraine is not Russia. This would be the same as someone saying I am Norwegian and meeting the response, oh you're Swedish. Haha. Secondly most obvious, East Slavs (Russians and Ukrainians) tend to be VERY pale compared to many Anglo-Americans and people of Western Europe, as well as a higher occurance of blondeness. Regardless of whether or not this may be "offensive" to some soft politically correct Americans, is this the average world/culture knowledge of most Americans.
