Racism is the result of the need for people in power to be able to identify and demonise someone for the unhappy in the population to blame for all their own feelings of failure and misery, so they don't rebel against the real culprits. Sounds too fanciful? In the middle ages the Jews in Britain and Europe briefly gained too much power and at the same time the general populations were heavily oppressed by the ruling elites, the Jews were demonised and had their lands and money confiscated by the Church and state. The state won as the Jews became everyone's devils and remained so, all debts were cancelled or unpaid and only one country had a revolution and even that was a long time later. This has always happened; in the fifties and sixties it was 'West Indians' coming over here taking our jobs and our women; then 'the Pakistanis';in the war 'the yanks'; now it's Poles or anyone from Middle Europe. All this completely ignores the facts; Britain has been a net loser for hundrteds of years, more people leave than come in. The reason most people come here is to work and most immigrants are not demons or coming to 'sponge off the state' but are skilled people in jobs the indiginous population do not want to do. I could go on all day but to answer your question properly; Racism is the inability to see you have been royally shafted by the ruling elite into believing something patently untrue and absurd because it suits them that you believe it. What is Race anyway? The only definition that can make claims like this have any meaning is if different Races were different species, which has been claimed. However, it falls at the very first issue; to be a different race in those terms you would not be able to interbreed and produce viable offspring. So, in reality there is only one race made up of diverse human beings, perhaps we should stop even using the term?

No, racism reflects a racists ignorance, and feelings of powerlessness. Cultural identification is not physical, and a disability is used to describe a physical or mental inability for an individual to not to have the ability to function without outside intervention.

No, racism is not the inability to see beyond what's physical. People judge people all the time based on gender, weight, and age. Racism is stupid.

Racism is a lack of education that can be cured. Through my life I have known a large number of people of different ethnic backgrounds, and only 1% ever fit the stereotype.

as a disabled person i am insulted by this question. If one is racist that does not make them disabled. I dont want any racists in the same category as me

No it's the disability to judge every individual.

Not all races are equal.

But there are scumbags and great people in every race.
