By "mirror nation" I mean great similarities in culture, language, that make them almost "twin countries" or brothers, like a moon orbiting a larger planet...

These countries are very geographically close to each other. So its understandable that these 2 cultures developed with each other, and once upon a time, the two countries could of been ruled under one kingdom. So they became very similar.

those countries that you mention are basically neighboring countries, that's going to make them have things in common.
