hi guys, i am an european and i went to india for a business trip. i went for a trip to major cities in india and i realised i can see different kind people.. i saw lots of people looking like europeans(majority of people looking like south europeans in capital and extreme north india). when went to middle india saw number tanned light browned skin people who resembles like mexicans or spaniards to say. when i went to east india saw vast majority of people looking like chinese,koreans or japanese looks. other than this in south i saw brown skined peope and even blackpeople to a extent.. its like a miniworld. towhich race does india belong to as i have seen all kind of people...anybody can answer irrespectve of country as i need to know with fine detals...

I know that there are lots of jokes and rumors about Momons and their many wives.

MORMONS DO NOT PRACTICE POLYGAMY!

A small percentage of them did in the 1800's, and was officially abolished in 1890.

There are 12 Million Mormons. There are some small offshoot groups who call themselves things like "Fundamentalist Mormons" and things like that. These groups are small, isolated, illegal, and are not in any way associated with the "Mormon" church.

So...here are my 2 questions:

1. Is this news to you, and now you know and believe that Mormons aren't polygamists?

2. Have you known that Mormons aren't polygamists, but go on talking about us as if we are?

We tend to have a good sense of humor and don't mind the jokes, however, It's been 117 years and people still say that we are. Thats like saying the Catholics are still torturing people on racks in dungeons.

So is this a news flash to you or did you already know this? Sigh....and of course we'll have some Mormon bashing

I know this is borderline racist, but I feel that immigrants should have to immerse themselves in their new culture. Eg if you move from China to Canada, you should be forced to speak english. I think it is fine to keep certain traditions and cultural practices, but to be totally ignorant to your new country and its culture, that in itself is racist, rude, and just plain makes me angry.

I am not trying to be ignorant, but....I need some questions answered from white people.
1) Some racist white people think that dark skin is so ugly..but why do they tan?
2) Racist white people hate black so much but still like black dominated sports such as basketball and football?

I wrote a letter to General Mills awhile back asking about this. I was wondering what my wonderful peers on YA thought.

Think about it:
The bunny is told that he cannot have something based on what he looks like.
He is segrigated and forced to eat other things because of who he is.
He is mocked openly in public by the children, and they laugh about how he is just a "silly rabbit".

I know it is just a cartoon, but what is it teaching our kids? Are they getting the message, "Silly (insert people group), this is for (another people group)." Or am I reading too much into this.
