Do you think that Indians should feel insulted for using their tribes as mascotts and teams?

I certainly can't blame them.

I used to get pretty steamed-up years ago about a discount cheapo store chain that called itself "MacFrugal's". King Soopers used to call their generic (i.e., cheap) product line "Scotch Buy" with a dorky-looking guy in a tartan tam as a logo, and I refused utterly to buy it. I found the implication that all Scots were stingy an obnoxious thing... I'm a Scot and proud of it.

So if something as minor as that bugs me, I can certainly empathize with them not wanting to have their images or their cultures appropriated by people who have no interest whatever in their actual culture or folkways.

native americans are some of the most exploited abused and underappreciated ppl in the history of man even behind blacks, they deserve better, from the reservations to compensation, native americans are the origianal americans point blank, if a college or anyone else making profit callin themselves the seminoles the seminole nation should recieve compensation, f u c k white corporate america!!!!

As long as their land is occupied by people of European descent while they are relegated to "reservations" it is an affront to their dignity and a humiliating insult.

the white man has used up everything here, so what does it matter what the indians feel your race wont change, and they get casnios for money, everyone now wants the American dream, not just whites, thank you!
