Black women seem to always be wearing a weave, on television, videos and at work. Or is it that black hair just can not grow that long?

All women of all races wear hair extensions. We can all grow very long hair. I do not wear weaves. Yet, I know many women that do of all colors and they say it is because they are easier to maintain. Five minutes in the mirror instead of 45. Well, if I could find a weave that I liked and it took less time to get ready in the morning, I would get one.

wow!!!! Questions like this should really be avoided. I work at a beauty school and weaves or hair pieces are what EVERYONE of EVERY race wears. I mean Jessica Simpson has her own line of fake hair out and on QVS and HSN it is mostly white women that sell and buy the clip in human hair. Not that their is a problem with that but it shows that your question just makes it seem like you have been living under a rock for the last couple of years. The truth is black women's hair grows just as long as anyone else but when your hair is very curly it appears much shorter. If a black women's hair is curly and to here shoulders if she straightens(non-chemical) it out it will most likely be down her back depending on how tight her curls are. My hair is long and full but if I felt like it I would put a clip on in because it is quick and easy and takes no time for the same look it may take me to blow dry my hair out. Every culture wears weave its 2007!!!!! Get a clue!!!

Let me tell you, for every black woman that wears a weave you have 3 white women that wears one. White women get away with it because nobody thinks they need to wear weaves. A white woman may rock a weave, to make her hair look thicker, for length, some just have really damaged hair, and use weaves to cover it up, or for fashion same with some black women. Hispanic women also rock weaves. Weaves came out of Europe originally!.

Black women can have naturally beautiful hair without weaves. But don't be fooled. Thinking that those white models on T.V. aren't wearing weaves as well. It's all about fashion these days. I don't know why I'm explaining anything to you. Since being your question was just to show your hate for black people.

I am white. I bleach and dye my hair, curl it, straighten it, reduce it, layer it, get extentions and so on... My stepdad (the one I've had for 21 years of my 26 year ancient existence) is black. So is his family. They under no circumstances had disorders come what may. In many instances my cousin Drea's hair just would not develop out proper in order that they had to reduce it and many others... Her mother took high-quality care of her hair and she nonetheless had quite a few problems with it being extremely coarse and unmanageable. Drea would scream and cry (her mom would even cry) each time she needed to have her braids redone on account that her hair was just totally unmanageable. I like black hair. It appears just right in weaves (as a rule, lol) AND common. I actually wanted a 'fro for YEEAARS. Heck, if I could pull it off now i might. What i'm pronouncing is how you pick to look is as much as you. Women put on makeup, bras and heels too. None of those matters are naturally conducive to what we appear like au average. To each her possess.

Black women hair is capable of growing very long. However, it takes a lot of caring and treatment to make it grow. It does not grow as fast as white women hair but it do grow long.

As far as the weave thing, it's personal preferences. It is a lot of weave on TV, but it's mainly used to make their hair diverse. I think the last Celeb to wear their natural hair was Aaliyah...

Here is a shocker for you many white women wear extensions !!! PAris hilton and many other celebrities...look up extensions on the internet and you'll see the same amount of white people wearing them .You don't notice as much because black women commonly have a small tighter curl hair and then place striaght extension in them !

um if you're not blk or a hairstylist i highly doubt you can actually tell the difference between extensions and natural hair - not allblk hair looks the same and then there are hair appliances and such. anyway. blk hair can grow long its just very hard to take care of. most blk women don't know how to take care of their hair. a lot of us have long hair; i straighten mine but not all do. and the fact that you asked this question just exemplifies your ignorance - almost every white woman in the entertainment industry wears extensions; Jessica Simpson actually has her own line of hair pieces and extensions which i think is pretty hilarious but you know ppl buy it so..

White women also wear weave! Many black women love their hair. White women also get perms to make their hair curly. Which is the natural state for alot of black women.

I dunno why do white women wear hair extensions?? I suppose it is a preference, and I don't think it is just stereotyped to one ethnic group or the other!! Heck I have dyed my hair almost every color to the point of not knowing my true hair color lol!!~ Sometimes I braid my hair or I straighten it sometimes I curl it!!! Just depends on my MOOD.. Now can we really solve a REAL problem in the world, or should we shave our heads lol
