Just Asking?

Question

I am not trying to be ignorant, but....I need some questions answered from white people.
1) Some racist white people think that dark skin is so ugly..but why do they tan?
2) Racist white people hate black so much but still like black dominated sports such as basketball and football?

I am very confused??

Your not confused sweety, you know the answers deep down. White people think they are so superior to any other color but as you have pointed out so gently, there are many things that they do envy. The way they deal with their envy and jealousy is to speak their acid words and spread their venom. Please know that not all white skinned people are racist and I personally dont understand it.

Do white people really hate black people or are you assuming we do? Do white people really think dark skin is ugly or is that an assumption also? Im white and I judge based on a persons character not their skin color or race. If your a bad person whether your white, black purple, gold, pink, or blue chances are I wont talk to you regardless. Were you raised to believe that white people naturally dont like you? You may be the most talented person in the world and if someone is so ignorant that they cant see it then thats their loss but please for future reference if your gonna direct a question at an entire race try to make it sound as though your not pointing fingers at everyone. Not all white people are racist, black, mexican, korean, etc.... have individuals in that particular race that are racist also and against white people if you can believe that. There are so many people in this world and so much diversity. Surround yourself with the individuals that make you happy and disregard the rest.

my niece and nephew are white/black
my other niece is white

I have cousins that are korean, hawaiian, hispanic, italian(which is what I am also), white you name it my family is diverse and I love them all equally.

Please dont judge solely by the entire race because everyone is different.

I think that watching sports is different than being in a relationship one on one with someone who is not the same as you are (skin color,etc.). People are usually afraid of what they do not know. Or perhaps they are not confident enough in themselves to find out what others are really like and they just "go along with the crowd"...
As far as white people wanting to tan, it just looks healthier!

racism is all so stupid of course you would be confused. trying to tan your skin does not have anything to do with trying to look black. it has to do with looking tan means you have money to vacation. funny, back years ago, being pale skinned ment that you had money and that you didn't have to work in the fields.
racist white people can't not watch sports that are dominated by blacks because they would be out of sports and would have nothing to watch. so they are just stupid.

1. I'm not sure, but maybe racism now is more a combination of ethnic and cultural biases than simply skin color. Perhaps some suburban-types who accept a middle-class black family into their neighborhoods, but would feel threatened by a perceived urban and/or poor black person.

That's a guess, anyhow.

2. I don't know. Maybe that's how they rationalize it; they accept the celebrities but not regular folks. I've met some people who use OJ as proof of their belief that all black people get treated fairly by the courts.

1) The people of the master white race like to have a beautiful golden bronze skin in the summer. Noone wants sh*t-colored skin.

2) Coloreds are entertaining sometimes. They are here to work the fields and entertain the white master race.

My mother-in-law married a man that we found out is a racist. My husband likes watching sports, so he tried to talk to his step-father about games, but he said he believes all the sports are rigged so he doesn't watch them. After my mother-in-law mentioned nasty comments he'd made, we figured out that his rigged-game theory is probably based on his prejudices. Meanwhile, other racists still watch sports and as soon as something happens like Barry Bonds being suspected of taking steroids, racial lines are drawn.

Jesus died for all of us so it sickens and saddens me to see so much hatred in the world, but I'm so glad I know racism will soon be gone when God's Kingdom is here. I'm part of worldwide brotherhood and am excited to know that soon people of all races, national groups, and languages will live together in harmony forever here on earth forever.

What does race have to do with people that enjoy being out in the sun?

A sport is a sport! It's not referred to as a "black/white" sport.

I think biracial people are the most beautiful. They often get the best traits of each race. Creamy skin, smooth but dark hair, and thinner features.

People root for teams rather than players so I don't think it matters who's on the team. A person usually roots for their college alma matter or their hometown.

Not confusing, its hypocrisy. Its like the racist people that don't like black people except 'that one guy-he's a good guy'.

Think about it-they hate skin color. Stupid.
