The white man will see someone black when they see me walking down the street. They do not accept me. To white people I am contaminated. The white man lynched mulattos as blacks. It is time for the mulattos of the world to unite
Who cares if I am part white? They will never see me as one of them

Why is it so cool to break balls of white people? When did being white be so "uncool" and being black "cool"?

How come middle-class Caucasians are locked out of most educational opportunities?
I am a white female sophomore from an average income in high school. I am also the valedictorian of my class. However, grades appear to matter very little. Whenever I attempt to apply for anything to expand my education such as summer programs I find that you must be either a minority or make less then $25,000 for yearly income. I just don't get it. It does not matter how hard I work, it's either become a minority or hand over thousands of dollars to learn something new. Why is it that now it is the color of your skin which determines how much you deserve something and no longer the effort you yourself put in? What happens to the people that don't fall into the categories of rich, poor, or minority. What happens to those who are stuck in the middle? Are they overlooked? Are they forgotten? I am not racist at all. Many of my friends are, in fact of various ethnicities. I'm merely a child trying to figure out how I get a chance, because I surely haven't found it yet.

I'm just curious as to why people always talk about slavery in the US or what happened with the native americans, but nobody talks about the black brazilians, who are decendants of slaves, and the white decendants of european slave owners, there? I'm also curious as to why nobody discusses the treatment of Inuits by the Canadians and what they did to those people, or how white Mexicans and other hispanics have portrayed themselves as victims of Europeans and not decendants of white spaniards that tried to eliminate a race of people and steal their land? Is there a double standard here?

I'm writing a research paper, and my thesis is that with all their rebellion, hippies have in fact created their own conformist society. I have a good 4 pages down, but have run out of ideas to write about and need a few more sources. Can anyone suggest any websites or articles that I can use for inspiration?

Why is it that black american women are portrayed so poorly by the media. Not all of us are over-weight, have bad attitudes, and abazillon kids? I for one am beautiful, have a great body and wonderful personality.

The reason why I ask this is because whenever I go somewhere new, sometimes people of different races tend to be intimadated by me until they get to know me.

For example: I work at a Credit Union and I had a new co-worker that was asian. He wouldn't talk to me at all the first week, (And I'm the type of person that has to talk to EVERYBODY) I had to intiate every conversation. He seemed scared of me.

Now that he knows me better, I'm like his best friend at work. (I think I'm the only black female friend he has) I asked him what his problem was when I first met him, he said he thought I would have an attitude b/c most black girls on tv are ghetto and trashy.

It's not fair how the media portrays us.
