No likes getting called names. How would you like it if your child was called a derogatory name? It doesn't matter what context it's used in. It has the ability to hurt peoples feeling.

Its totally impossible for me to hear that word and not put a negative context to it in any situation. It no longer means an ignorant person, it is used to exclude them from and take away a person's humanity.

it doesnt hurt my feelings its about respect that word was used to opress and degrade my ancestors during slavery and if someone calls me that ima beat their ***, i dont care if u call me porch monkey i dont care, but ***.ger has to do with slavery and if u call me that i feel like u are telling me i should be a slave or something. and i dont like when blacks say ***.ga

also i want to know why some whites want to use that word, it is such an ugly horrible word

EDIT: u an give me a thumbs down but seriously why would someone wanna call me something that is related to slavery. it was a horrible thing and no matter how much u dislike someone, i or no one else should wish that on someone
