Its a good point u address. You even see the obligatory sassy sista' routine in the cartoons these days. Its a matter of cause and effect. My observation is that poor black women tend to fall at the bottom end of the desirability hierarchy for jobs and mates, so they act out some that aggression through an over-display of confidence and attitude. Add to that, poorer ppl have less financial ability to monitor nutrition and weight, so is born the cycle of the disenfranchised stereotypical angry black woman. The kids part may also come from some level of poor education about birth control.
Now, if you see middle class professional black women, they behave completely differently, and in fact adopt the behavioral characteristics that ppl for whatever reason associate with white women, such as weight obsession, body insecurity, passive aggression, etc.
Its rather weird but you can immediately tell someone's education and upbringing from their speech, attitude and bearing. Here, the stereotypes do exist for a reason, but that reason is purely cultural and socioeconomic, a little exaggerated, and with lots of exceptions in between. For ppl with little exposure to the black community, they wind up getting their misinformation from Jerry Springer- so dont worry about them. They'll come around quickly.

well, I have met some very nice black women but the ones that had chip on their shoulder make me rather cautious when I first meet one. I think, "ok she's cute but is she gonna bite my head off".
I don't know enough blacks to be objective about how they are portrayed in the media.
All I can say, is that I've have a HUGE weakness for Rihana and her accent is great too. As a white guy, i confess I'd have no chance in hell resisting her. if she said jump, how high likely response.
So of the female's playing opposite to eddiw murphey, ..., all the girls in movie about Eva, ...
Can't change much about how people feel when they don't know wyou but afterwards, ...
Escuse me but "Mr. DJ, ..." I pretty change my profession.

This is the thing with eating disorders... people only recognize the kind of eating disorders where you lose weight, and not the kind where you gain weight. 60-70% of people have an eating disorder where they eat TOO MUCH and GAIN WEIGHT and are clinically overweight or obese. At the very least, morbidly obese people have an eating disorder, and they make up at least 10% of the population. What percentage of people have anorexia or bulimia? Probably less than 1% of the population, and of that 1%, how many have serious anorexia or bulimia? I know many women who are "anorexic" but they do it just to get attention. How many people with anorexia or bulimia are actually dealing with health problems, risk of death, etc? And compare that to the % of morbidly obese people who are dealing with health problems and risk of death. It's MUCH higher. In other words, what I'm saying is that obesity is a more serious and more common problem than anorexia or bulimia. This is especially true in the black community, where 80% of black women are overweight or obese.

I'm a black woman too, that's why I'm being subjective as wells objective. The media portrays us a being loud, ignorant, fat, fake without any natural beauty with a bad attitude because it is true and we deserve it. The media does everything to degrade us and destroy are race and encourage the black man to date everybody but us, yet we still follow the media. Yes we do, with are fake hair and fake hair texture, fat bodies, ignorant minds and nasty attitudes. We should own are wrong doings and clean ourselves up and love and respect ourselves in our natural state, instead of being the little fat, fake devils that we are programed to be.Than people will have more respect for us and blackman will be more than happy to date us.
