There are plenty black people in media perpertraiting the ghetto stereotype. Grante, its getting more even for us.
More of us need to get behind the cameras, start writing, start prodicing.

We could try to become active and change the way we are portryed but real change can only come once we control some media outlets. As long as people of other races, mainly white, are in control of media things wont change much.
Because some of the images minorities find offensive, whites don't see a problem with b/c they don't understand.
So I think that a change will come once people learn to become more sensitive, and change their way of thinking.

Pretty much every group is stereotyped in the media. whites, blacks, hispanics, jews, arabs, christians, hindus, etc. TV is entertainment and a black person living in the suburbs working 9-5 and raising 2 kids isn't entertainment. Drama is what sells, everyone knows this.

We cant do anything to control the media.But yet when they see a educated hispanic, black, or any other race then they feel inferior.Its like they want people to see certain races the same as they see on tv when they should realize that many people are not like that.They only show what they think would give them ratings or what people expect.Come on people life is nothing like what they show on tv!!

Because dumb as*. We don't control the media, TV, print media, radio, magazines, newspapers etc. 99.9% of all the major media is control by Jews (white). What are you doing to try to solve the problem instead of being the problem?

It's a waste of time.
I can't fight a corporate giant... Rather it's better that I go to school, get an education make something of myself and SHOW the rest of the community that Latinos aren't all gang-banging, drug dealing, jealous, hot-blooded, lazy, flea market attending people.

hollywood shows what the a lot pays for,its as much as black actors and actresses to no longer do particular roles,yet there is not any way each and each black actor will turn down a place,they are going to continually discover one to assert confident

i try i am the exact oppostie of what they show, you should be asking the producers and the media why they only show what they think of us, i mean damnit there are plenty of us like me out there but we dont see that ****, just like they dont make it a known fact that more whites are on welfare i mean duh there are more of u guys in this country so more of u are on it
