As a kid I can clearly remember asking my dad two stupid questions:

When watching a boxing match: Is the Prime Minister a better fighter than that boxer there?
And;
When watching my dad reading a newspaper: Are they comics for grown ups?

Yeah okay they were rubbish questions (and all I got from my dad was a 'yeah') but can you remember asking some daft stuff?!

I think not? and how about jermaine saying the expression "white trash"? why is it one rule for one and not the other? I appreciate that not many of u will care either way about big brother, but im really talking about the principle, rather than the specific show

are we not saying that all middle easterners are terroists? What about sinn fean? Are we not just sterotyping a group of people in order to understand the destruction in our world when the western world is equally guilty of creating "terroism" in other lands?

As I said, this is a tricky question to find the appropriate words for without causing some kind of offence to someone out there but.......

When I look at countries such as China for example, the majority of the native population seems to look quite similar.....ie, black hair, oriental eyes, usually short, coloured skin, whereas in western countries everybody looks far more individual. Why is there not much variation in natural hair colour and do you think Great Britain used to be like this once upon a time?

With the recent 'so called' racist outcomes from this years Celeb Big Brother I wonder what is racism and what is termed as being a Nationalist? Say if I was to tell somebody my surname and the person whom I was speaking to didn't understand it and misinterpreted my surname for something else. Are they being racist? I feel that this 'can of worms' can only be opened further and will eventually become a much bigger problem that will cause any government problems.

I don't know about you, but I think that British people have bent over backwards to accomodate immigrants and minorities, and none of it is good enough. Already today I've answered 3 questions on here accusing British people of racism. Maybe those people should look at the rest of the world and see how minorities are treated there.

We British have altered our entire culture and way of life to suit minorities and all we face in return is ingratitude and abuse. What do you reckon??

That is the precise number of people there are in the whole of the Australian provinces.

Wow.

Does anyone have any idea about how London will cope with twenty million and growing in terms of healthcare, education, housing, and/or other social services?

And particularly how this figure has been affected by multiculturalism? A white teacher in a small town outside Manchester was complaining recently that her classes are eighty percent Muslim and that her own position is being imperilled because the Muslims would prefer a Muslim teacher.

Jade Goody right or wrong? Or has that piece of crap been staged?

Would you consider a person who is naturalized an American? If "yes", under what conditions?

The thing is while the law says (s)he is, the media always likes to emphacise foreign birth. You always read things like- "German-born", or "Polish Immigrant" long after a person is naturalized. It almost never calls such a person "American". Does this reflect a deeply ingrained tendency in the American psyche that an American is someone who is "born and raised" in the USA?

People in the USA also like to ask one " where are you from originally?" and almost never "what is your citizenship?"

I would like to know an honest ( non-PC answer)

The growing crime rate, the world over, is a concern for all of us. The uneducated and unemployed youth are an easy prey to terrorists network. How many groups do you know , who are trying to work towards training and educating , underpriviledged citizens of their society, the way " http://groups.yahoo.com/group/JOBnJUSTICE " is planning?

Characteristics associated with the "white trash" stereotype would include being workshy, indolent and largely benefit dependent, with little ambition or drive for self improvement or education"
This is a description I have found on Yahoo Answers of 'White Trash'. Is this acceptable? Is it true? If so, is it valid to use this tag for so called 'underclass white people'. Many of the people who live in my area could possibly meet this criteria. A deprived former industrial area, Government grants and aid seem to pass us by. It is true many are on benefit, working 'on the sly' is strife; a 'get what you can' culture'. Drugs and alcohol are a curse but most are honest, good people brought up on solid values. Their fathers and mothers, grandparents have seen real hardship, stories of the last war and what people had to do to get through; the British Spirit! No ethnic group are beyond criticism, but seeking answers instead of chastising is the answer. Beware of white middle class racism!
