in australia and the amerikas the caucasians didn't hesitate to take over and destroy the native and "integrateted" the people, who survived. believe me they had the same will to destroy in africa, but failed due to the outer parlamentarian opposition like malaria, yellow fever and other horrible deseases....even the continent was rich in resources, in those parts where this opposition was prevalent, they simply failed and occupied only the coastal areas, in the parts where those deseases were minor they took over like north afrika (arabs) and south afrika.....
if northamerika had had those deseases, then the USA or canada would not exist today...instead a big number of indian countries would be there instead.......

Because of the jungle or the heat? How about perhaps the indiginous people preferred not to be taken over?

They DID take over Africa by raping it of its resources (people, minerals, and land). They are the reason the whole continent is still screwed up to this day. When they came in, the designed the entire infrastructure for the purpose of serving their interests, not that of the indigenous people. They also pitted one tribe against another, all in the interest of money. The effects of these actions are present to this day.

It was economically advantageous to use African labour to mine African resources and the feck off back home. If white people physically took over the continent, they'd have to provide more of the labour and would demand a higher rate of pay for it.

It's all about exploitation.

Dont be silly...its started off as exploration and adventure for new worlds...then colonisation reared its ugly head because Africa was rich in food, resources and minerals like gold, and precious stones.

Greed. All a matter of greed and the twin evils ofexploitation and slavery. To this day it continues...in one form or another. Truly a grief stricken continent.

They raped, pillaged, incited, divided and rendered asunder like they had done in no other continent.
