Culture is more of an evolutionary thing than a static, unchanging model forever etched in stone. All civilizations change over time. Anyone who longs for the good old days should really think about it because the good old days usually weren't that good compared to today. What most people remember as "the good old days" have been brightened and embellished in their own minds.

It's a big, changing world, get used to it. Dinosaurs couldn't adapt, look at them now....

By the time the present generation grow up and realize the value of preserving and practicing the valuable culture and traditions, they will be the older generation and their children will become"present generation".
So every one right now, which ever genration, should learn to value and practive the traditions and culture and keep them alive. Spend time with your parents, uncles, grandparents etc. to know what those values and traditions are. But if the youth spend time with their peers and none at all with the elders (except when they want/need money) how will they learn if they don't listen?

Why not, they are very innovative and have brought back an facilitated the culture of Haveli dance, bhog vilash of the commanding in supremos of society etc. to the streets and the com.mon man in the form of disco nites and cabras etc. Poverty and exploitation of 80-90 percent of population alongside brutal luxurious lustful joys of many others is being retranslated so that no caste could be left out of it. The culture of exploitation and injustice did never suffer any set back and continues to flourish and would continue to suffocate, suppress and exploit the billion genuine. Each period is full of golden birds for few people only while others have simply to die of hungar, infamy and humility. The true heritage (i.e the starving peopl and the hard and honest work of all unknowns ), the lower castes to exploit and humiliate and to prove relative upper-hood of some, have always been claimed to be an integral part of the great and noble culture. Increasing number of slums and dance bars truly represent the rang-vilas-mahals alongside poverty ridden huts featured in glorious past. The glorious history of few created on humility and starvation of most of others can never be forgotton. The present generation is well equipped, with blessings of past and present cunning sages, to perpetuate past for most of the people with latest techniques of brutality and exploitation.

according to me the present is a reflection of the past .Though the present generation is considered to be lacking in the root culture &heritage of the country yet there r many who are still maintaining the tempo..........the difference is that they have modified our culture &heritage to such an extent that our basis seems to be lost......
