I think the whole affair is rubbish and has resulted in all white people being slaves if they say one word wrong the whole rent a mob cry racist lynch him and he has to stand in stocks go on his knees and say sorry for nothing done. It has created a form of racism due to this fact. I am terrified of black people and avoid them to avoid being put in stocks for saying one wrong word.

I got a question for everyone out there!
What is wrong with people? I mean come on what happened to we are all people regardless of where we are from or what color our skin is? I thought we put our foot down on racism years ago and now it is sneaking back. Our life is one big filing system and you got (^&#)$*&# putting folks in different catagories, I hate catagories, I hate being labeled, who cares what we are, who we love, what we believe in. I still breath and die just like any other person. I am no different, I may light and I may be dark but I EXPECT to be treated just like anyone else. For those close minded individuals I really feel sorry for you, I read a question today about should people from other countries be able to work in the US, well this is a world our world we all live on it so deal, you don't like the fact that someone is making more $$ then you should have taken your butt to college and graduated instead of being a drop-out!

Now really think about the question and what it means to care. Do you think he really cares about black people? Sure he's got some black cabinet members, and he's not racist either, but do you think he care's about black people in America (and the rest of the world too). What has he done to show that he cares?

It seems like when person of a minority group in the US holds on to their culture like speaking their language, eating their traditional food, dressing in their traditional clothes, they are not accepted by white Americans. For example, I have seen Indian and Arab people who wear their traditional clothes get treated badly. I have seen Hispanic people who are treated badly because they speak their language and take pride in their culture. My mother came to the US from the Philippines 19 years ago and she has worked hard to perfect her English but she still uses broken English. (white) People have talked down to her and treated her like she is stupid because of it. It seems like if people have pride in their heritage or cant speak perfect English they are looked down upon like they are less than American. America is a country of immigrants and is supposed to be a melting pot. So why do minorities have to abandon their culture to fit in. It makes some of us resent white Americans.

When I was dating my ex, boyfriend who happens to be Salvadorain, people keep on asking us "are you going to have kids?" or they kept on saying "you're kids are going to look really beautiful because you're both exotic." "your kids are going to have long and good hair" Ugh!! It gets so irritating sometimes. What's wrong non-mixed children? Aren't they cute too? People don't say the same thing when I'm with a Black guy.

I've been to Europe many times, especially England, France, Germany, Netherlands, etc. and have never seen such racism in my life. From the way Indians and blacks are treated, to anti-Americanism and anti-semitism. It's very disturbing. Have things in Europe always been this way or has something recently brought this on? Certainly racism exist in the US too, but people in Europe seem so open and vulgar about it. They seem to have no shame about calling someone a "paki" in public. I had never even heard of this term before I went to Europe. Do recent immigrants, the sad state of the Europe economy and welfare system play a part in this at all?

people talk about that incident on big brother with shilpa shetty. but it happens everyday, not just in the UK. i come from kerala, India and live in the United Arab Emirates. It's just not fair that so many people are against us just because of the way we speak. Calling us "mallus", they think we are stupid. Thta's just not true, because in this growing country with a boosting economy, the keralites are the labourers, they are the staff, they make up a large part of making the UAE what it is today. Its not fair that people have to be treated on skin color or pronounciation. What do you think? How do i get back my self-confidence and patriotism?

All I hear from black people is "you guys" "you people" or "all white people". Why can't they see us and individuals instead of a giant group, as if we all act, think, and do the same things? We come from all corners of the Earth and have so different points of view and experiences. Get to know us before you judge us!
