I'm sick and tired of being bumped, knocked and run into by buggies when walking through a shopping center, why are people so ignorant?

Sorry i forgot to mention that i did not mean just women with buggies, it's also other folk who walk straight at you when you've three bags of groceries in each arm....

i'm sure it's frustrating and annoying for you, but have you ever tried to use a buggy in a busy shopping centre with a child/few children in tow? most people won't get out of the way, will never say sorry if they bump into you and always try to get past/in front first with no thought of how hard it is to manouevour these things?

there should be a separate pathway type thing for pedestrians and people with buggies etc.. in shopping centres

Your right. This is awful. Some people get miserable while they shop because the are frustrated with shopping. Can' t find what they want or running short on money. Four hours after surgery I got pushed around in a grocery store, boy that hurt. Seem to be no more respect for other.

Some Mums do use their buggies to clear the way. One time, some nice lady went into the back of me so fast I had to grab the buggy on both sides to stop me from falling backwards and squishing the baby!

And she gave me an earful for my trouble!

Some people...tsk tsk.

I dont bother any more - I go to my local charity shops for clothes - designer labels for a fraction of the price and the knowledge that I am donating to charity.

Best to go to the shopping malls first thing in the morning if you do have to go

Because their mind is on I want and did I want it really, and what do I want next and what are all these people getting in my way for and why is everybody hungry at the same time and why do people have to bring prams out and can you not see that I am pushing a pram? Welcome to the selfish realm of the SHOPPER.

Because they know they can.

In my area of London, things like that are rare as people know there will often be violent consequences. In other areas, with no comeback, people can do what they like. To be honest, most people are unaware that they've even done anything wrong.

I've found this out, too. I'm glad it's not just me. I think it's cos people want to walk where THEY want to walk, & you have to move aside for them, like they own the place!!! This also happens on the pavements outside, too.
