we only seem to hear about white people being racist ????? can that realy be true??

HUH??? I going to assume you mean on par with segregation and Affirmative action needs.
NO, non whites have not been racist against white in that way. They have not been barred to neighborhoods, bars, eateries, public places, jobs, etc, etc by the non white power structure.
That said...they have been killed, robbed, beaten, jacked, and stalked by non whites JUST because they are white. They are disliked for the colour of their skin and not the content of their character.

There is a reason for what you are referring to, although I'm not sure you are correct.
The reason is because racism is a loaded term but what you think of as racism is probably person-to-person racism that has emotional effects on the individuals involved in the incidence. "Actual" racism refers to predjudice plus power. See the term hegemony. This means that when White people (as you refer to them) commit racist acts their racism has the institutional/public power to affect others. This means that since White people make up most of the government, most of the upper class, and most of the lawmakers their racism has influence on all those around them. Many people of color have little institutional power to affect others with their racism. There is more to this if you are willing to look into it but it does answer your question.
To get to your question though, more racism does exist and is put in the media from people of color to White people. It usually is labeled a crime though and not racism. This means that people of color are being sent to jail for their "racist" acts whereas many White people (as you termed them) are just getting guff for it. There is a lot of evidence to prove this, just look up crime statistics and see how many people of color are in trouble for committing acts against majority people and then see how many majority people are in prison for committing acts against people of color. I know you will find a big difference.

I've read stories. In the LA Times there was a story printed about black-on-white violence, hispanic-on-black violence...
It's just a matter of what you read.

And majority of people who are in power right now not just in this country but in the World. Are what??
