Racism and political correctness are both wrong, counterprogressive and obnoxious. Uptight and ignorant idiots these days, both black and white, cry "racism" so much that they have forgotten what racism means. The irony of it all is that the uptight PC people who cry racism are often the racist ones themselves and not the ones being accused. Racism is hatred of or the belief that a race is inferior to another. Impolitical correctness and racism are NOT the same thing. Many impolitically correct things are banned or accused of being racist when they really aren't.

However, what is also irritating is that there are people that fit the true definition of racism that will call themselves impolitically correct. If they make a statement about innate racial inferiority, they'll defend it by saying "oh I'm just being honest and impolitically correct". Give me a break.

They changed from "Negroes" to "Colored People" to "Blacks"and now most popularly to "African-Americans". But all this time NAACP carried the phrase: "Colored People". I think they should change it to "African-N-Asian-Americans" to create racial harmony. Then NAACP becomes NAAANAA. And Sen. Oboma becomes part of it too along with all the Asian-Americans. What do you think?

Just curious, why taking into account the way society is today why would an American male(specially if you are non religious) under 40, white or black ever want to marry an American woman? I have been to about 4 weddings of Americas in the last 4 years between white male/white female, w/w, black/black, and bl male/wh female. They all got divorced in less than 2 years. Everybody that I know is getting divorced. 1) These days it is very easy to have sex without getting married, and sex is nothing to so many American women (believe me I went to college here, why buy a cow when you can get the milk for free). 2) Before most of the time the woman was the main person holding the marriage, nowadays that is mostly not the case, lots of them are pretty quick in divorcing. 3) Money loses in general are pretty bad for males. 4) Many American women are raised to be like males, not many good wives in that group, more into parties & drinking. Living with somebody seems so much efficient, and simple

I mean they're suppose to be role models and they know there are rules to follow. Yet, once they win the let loose. Pose for playboy, drink out of moderation and while under age. Then they want to cry when they are reprimanded. There were obviously better candidates for thier position. They obviously had to lie about their character and put on a act as goody goody. If they can't hang with the rules and expectations then they shouldn't be running to represent the USA. They can still go be alcoholics, sluts, and porn without being Miss beauty queen.

Christmas is pagan and ARE CHRISTIANS AGAINST PAGANISM?! doesn't that make them hypocrites? For example: Christmas is most from Saturnalia.

Yule log -from ancient Norse traditions during Winter solstice

Dec 25 -Picked by Pope Julius 1 in 4th century coincides with Birthday of Roman God Mithra celebrated centuries before Christ was born.
Determining the exact day of Jesus' birth is even more problematic than the year. I say that the birth could not have happened in the deep winter, because the Bible says that shepherds spent the night outdoors with their flocks when Jesus was born (Luke 2:8).

Our only sources of information on Jesus' birth are the gospels of Matthew and Luke. Matthew describes a "Massacre of the Innocents" under Herod the Great, which Jesus's parents avoid through a Flight into Egypt.

I choose to do my report for one of my graduate classes on how society views the effects of wealth and status on kids. Both how poor or middle class views wealthy kids, and how the wealthy views poor or middle class kids. Considering I came from a rather wealthy family (my father works in a high position in JP Morgan Chase) I already have friends whom I will ask the later of the two questions to.

But I want to know how "you" view kids coming from immense wealth, not how they are depicted on the media and stereotyping, though you could use that if you want to.

I notice that when white men shave their head or cut their hair really short, their hair color is black then goes to blonde. Is this just coincidence or what? Tell me, what do you people think?
