Because the politically correct have to make sure that at least one black person is admired in the movie. They can't have the black people be the bad guys, that would be discrimination....
Don't get me wrong, my best friend in the whole world besides Jesus (lol) is black. It's just taken way too far sometimes.

those people who say Avatar is racist is only a comedian tale!! Everytime a competent action picture exhibits then somebody constantly play the racist card. The previous is the previous and the destiny is now! So human beings could only drop the racist concern. the line the common reported became ment for the human race no longer race like shade or lifestyle!!! So what if the guy became white!! He performed his area nicely and thats maximum probable why he have been given the activity because of the fact he became the final actor for it no longer because of the fact he's white. I study the comments on News24 and that i discover that all and sundry the human beings there reported that this racist concern is bull!!!

Because hes only there so the movie wont be called prejudice against blacks. And besides, its a white movie. You know like all the jason movies, white, all the kruger movies, white. etc.

They are usually not the main character in those types of films, so the plot can afford to lose the black person in the first 10 minutes.
