I can honestly sum it up like this tell me if im wrong
make a list of what you want in your perfect guy form head to toe and then from mind to heart
then think of the worst thing that could happen between the two of you and what would be the perfect outcome to the problem that the two of you do
then start from preschool and list every guy you ever were in a relationship with (adjusting for the change in your mind and character and increasing maturity throughout the years ) and ask yourself did everyone of those guys have the same mentality as in your first list.......................... ask yourself this Why did you continue to settle?
that is why decent/loveable girls finish last
dont make a man,
your soul mate awaits you
the problem is, he has to wait for you to filter through all these other guys in order for you to wait for him is all.

Ok, I'm going to play devil's advocate here and add a little bad boy arsholiness to this otherwise respectable and decent group hug for losers anonymous.
You finish last, because you don't know how to finish first. You're advisers have been defeated an accepted the scraps from the table. Some people don't settle. They get what they want. EVERYTHING.
Yes, when I die you will dance on my grave, but while I'm alive, I will screw your women, make more money than you and tell better jokes. Basically, I will live a better life than you.

I learned this in abnormal psych. Because a decent person is the last thing someone wants in a relationship (this works as a serious response and a joke response). If you really wanna know why...I don't know.

If you didn't get the guy you wanted, then don't assume it to be a loss. It's much better than spending years with someone and having it go away. Keep faith. Good people are rewarded

They don't! Actually, as we "mature" we end up coming in first, because they guys have time to get the "other" girls out of their system and realize that that particular road doesn't lead to long term happiness. Just ask this girl, who has finally ended up with the man of her dreams....sometimes we just have to wait a little longer to end up with the very best! ;-)
