EMO is simply an emotional person mispelling Elmo the tickle doll. Hello it's not all about crying.......Some people like to laugh.

It means emotive hard core...it's a style of music. A lot of people have no clue and think it means emotional and that emo kids cut themselves. As for clothing, the clothes that are considered emo are actually pretty nice and stylish.

EMO- emotional .... it basically means someone who is into their feelings and it seems to be related to music and the emo music movement. emo people wear emo clothes that often can be characterized by canvas shoes, tighter 1 rolled up cuff jeans, and dark makeup around the eyes (guys and girls).... i could be 100% off, but that is the way the kids around here are wearing it...

OH Wow! now dats one of da best questions ever..An "EMO" seems to b an emotional person who jus wants da world to kno dat they're terribly emotional..but then again most ppl think its for attention i think some not all emo's r lookin for attention i think some of them have problems. An Emo makes me sad therefore i dont hang around to many of them bc they depress me...They're stereotypical ppl who go aroun blk n chains n stuff of dat nature which is really sad bc they affect erryone around them =(

emo is emotional for short.emo was originally a genre of music which people made into a style.the clothes and the way they dress is pretty cool to me,but,it's kind of depressing.all it is to me is a style and still,that genre of music.alot of people call people who cut,emos.but,not all of them do that and yeah...
