If God made man in his image, why do so many hateful, bigoted, non-loving people attempt to create God in THEIR image?

MY God loves me and you…regardless of how I feel about you.

My God tells me that all men and women are created equal.

My God tells me that love and respect are the foundation of all human existence, and inseparable from the human condition.

My God tells me that to hate anyone is to deny him.

My God tells me that to judge anyone is to deny him.

My God tells me that if I treat other people the way I want other people to treat me I will know His love.

My God would never accept prejudice.

My God would never condone bigotry and hatred in His name.

My God IS Love.

…now, how did I get all of that out of the Bible? Well, first, I read it. Why do so many people assume they know God and what God would want, do or say and they have almost no real knowledge of what is actually in the Bible?

Why does hate trump love in so much of the world?

I'm not sure why they're not legal, when someone loves another person why can't they legally marry them =S
I'm not too sure about bringing children into the equation, maybe then it gets a bit difficult because you're affecting another life. But as a gay couple you should be able to legally marry

I'm a straight guy but I prefer to be thought of as one of the girls so I'd probably decide to live as a girl for the rest of my life, that way I can be myself all the time without being so self conscious and I can wear whatever I want rather then being stuck wearing trousers all the time, I don't even really like trousers, I prefer skirts and dresses but I'm just too self conscious to wear those types of clothing in this body. I just prefer girls things rather boys things. I'd like to do cheerleading or sommat but I'm really self conscious when it comes to that.
So I'd rather be a girl dispite it having many downsides.
What gender would you live the rest of your life as if you had the choice though?

I am 18. My BF is 16. The Age of Consent in NY is 17.

My question is "can I legally shower with him (no penetration of any kind) before he is 17?

You may have been reading my recent questions about concerning my sexuality. I have been confused for awhile and now I have to accept who I am. I do not like girls sexually and there is nothing I can do about it. I am a Roman Catholic and If my some of my family members don't accept me so be it. I am who I am. honestly ive never known my sexuality. i just started questioning now . well just thinking back to when i was a kid i have gotten kisses from my friends and it felt right getting kissed . but then as i got older i like checked out girls bodies a bit ( i thought it was totally normal) but that kinda went away. but then there came the day when i was a on site and my bi friend asked me out , i didnt like her like that but i said yes. but when she broke up with me i kinda hurt a bit. anyway. i never really loved guys and the fact that this guy is kinda into to me rite now doesnt make me all happy or anything.help please

ok. so all my life i have kinda been more attracted to guys. But i find it alot easier to get with girls...all my friends are girls.. and its really easy to make friends with girls. but ever since i told my self oki you might be gay see what happens...i cant talk to guys i get really nervous and when a guy does like hit on me or give me his number i freak out and say something like "why im not gay". I have been thinking alot about my sexuality and stuff and im mentally more comfortable with being gay...but i find it socially safer being "straight".

I would like someone out there to see what they think of this and let me know whats going on. keep in mind i havnt come out or lead on that im gay to anyone so im like DEEEPPP in the closet.

Seems to me that every other question asked by christians is obsessing in some way with what I do in bed, if they are so curious why don't they visit a gay bar and find out first hand.

Hi I' a straight 14year old guy but i prefer to be thought of as a girl and at my local youth club there's a poster for a Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Club for teenagers age 13-18 and I'd like to go there so I can just be amoung people like me and just to have a good time and maybe do things I've never had the guts to do in public like wearing girls clothin but I'm worried that if I join my family might find out.
What can I do?
