Seems to me that every other question asked by christians is obsessing in some way with what I do in bed, if they are so curious why don't they visit a gay bar and find out first hand.

I must admit I am also now finding it hard to find a different way of answering the same questions over and over on this subject

Hello there.
We aren't, as a rule.

Yes, I know a few thick types get on here, but that is a small group. Most never consider gays at all, sorry.

The big problem for Christians like me with the gay groups is, that Jesus never said anything about it at all, so the only guidance to be found is Old Testament and you know what that means - ridiculous lists, contradictory statements and bizarre rules (especially Leviticus).

So I am stuck with what Jesus said in general.
Am I without sin, to cast the first stone? No, I sin too, so no stone casting from me.
Are you my neighbour? Yes, you are. More than that, if you come to church you are my brother or sister. (Or both! Just my little Christian joke, there - sad, isn't it?).
Do I have to treat you as I would wish to be treated? Yes, I do.

So here we go. I try not to be a hypocrite, we all enjoy being loved and we (nearly) all like sex! I think I have a good idea what you do sexually, it is less important, for as long as there is room for love you can never be lost - Jesus was on earth for all, don't reject him because some of his followers seem a bit thick. And if anybody tells you Jesus has no place for you, they are wrong. Love is inclusive.

All this, but I promise I am not trying to force anything down your throat that you won't like... another joke! That's 2!

Cheers, Steve.

Firstly I just wanted to say way to generalise there, while a disturbing amount of Christians are preoccupied with gay men yet strangely not so many by lesbians a fair few of us don't think it's right to focus on that as if it's the worse of all sins ever!!!! It's a difficult issue because the bible does specifically point it out as a sin but it's in a big long list of other sins that nobody seems to pay that much attention to these days. It's in Leviticus if you want to read what.

I personally believe what you get up to in or out of bed is between you and God and absolutely nothing to do with me. Judge not and all that. I don't think God would condemn someone for loving another person even if they are the same sex, promiscuous sex however, be it gay or straight I think he has massive problems with but that's just my opinion I could well be wrong.

They are not obsessed, they like to look in on the very people they try to oppress to see if it is working or not.Christian oppression in this country is phenominal. If you dont believe it exists, then why cant I get married to a man in Texas?Their ignorance extends into their own personal lives as well as their godforsaken religion. They burned and hung people for being witches, but isnt a miracle or resurrection MAGIC?????They are all hypocrites and hateful vengeful people. Some try to be good. But they are caught up in the stupid crap like the rest of them. And then there are gay people who call themselves Christians. Now THERE'S a lost soul !!!Because they join the very people that hate and slander them at every opportunity, and they can never be Christian because Christianity does not support homosexuality no matter how much the gay person tries to alter the religion to suit his needs. That is just like joining Al Quada and saying "I am one of them, but I'm not like them...".How stupid is that?Just as stupid as the gay Christian....That crap was sold through primal fear and mans need for eternal life. And it is all CRAP.The fact that so many of them hang out here instead of in fellowship with their own is proof of their need to oppress and harass. And yes, many of them are stuck in the closet because their own family will turn against them as abominations and all of that holy crap.Christianity is a conditioned mental illness that breeds hate. How many so called Christians protested against blacks in the civil rights movement?BUNCHES of white supremists under the guise of the church.Gays are going through what black people did to gain their civil rights.Same oppressive people, same Christian "holier than thou" mentality.Hate is like a black hole,it consumes and destroys everything around it.Just sit back and watch some of the stuff Christians say on here.We should visit their site more often and profess how we feel about homosexuality. But we dont, because we do not have an agenda of hatred....Hugs!

I'm christian(correction, I go to a christian) and you could be gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or even alien for all I care and I wouldn't obsess over anyone of them because the only way anyones gonna be happy is if they let everyone be.
Oh when I mentioned alien I wasn't trying to say anything I was just merely pointing out how serious I was.

It's a "hot" topic... think about it... the two things most people will immediately call up their friends to say are either that someone they know just came out as gay... or someone died... it's sensational... it's great press... it's something they can all rally behind "DEFEND TRADITIONAL VALUES"..."DEFEND MARRIAGE"... as if gay people aren't traditional in their values... and as if gay people get married that somehow will "threaten" the validity of their OWN marriage...

... but really... If not for us... they might have to focus on doing GOOD things in the name of Christ... and of course...we all know... picking on US is much more fun for them...

... very Christ-like huh... NOT...

I think the problem is that they are told that homosexuality is a sin and of course there are the same % of homosexuals in the christian community as in any other community so there are lot of them with very guilty consciences and a lot who want to try it but dare not so they talk about it instead

well.....my 2 cents.... ::ahem::

Homophobic christians (not all christians are homophobes and lots of gay people consider themselves christians)....well, deep down? I think they have overwhelming 'desires of the flesh' that they oppress and they despise anyone that gives in to NATURE.

Think about it. You've seen stories about people who self-flagellate....They are trying to BEAT the desire out of themselves!

You know how people have to prostrate themselves to confess their 'sins'? They are feeding the demented perverted minds of the priests. Those priests FEED off of listening to people decry their nature.

They have to do something to keep food on their plates - so to speak. Keeping it fresh in the minds of their congregants is a way to ensure that they get their feed!

But...sarcasm aside....I think there IS a self hatred that the haters deflect outside of themselves to persecute others. It comes across as an obsession because they have to work harder to keep themselves from admitting the truth.

Christians are really ignorant, just let people live there life they want to. You cant live ur life by the bible. Christians live there whole life trying to be saints all for an image to impress others, when really u guys are just followers.
