Simply because we dont have any Lesbian and Gay presidents ever since? Yaaaaaa I guess thats it, if ever we will have GLBT president, im sure they agree to have lesbian and gay weddings.

I know in toronto that its legal, but not quite sure. Well for me it doesnt matter if youre gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender, as long as you do love each other, you have the right to get married!!!

I repeat: In my own opinion

"EVERYONE WHO'S IN LOVE W/ EACH OTHER HAS THE RIGHTS TO GET MARRIED"

Canada, Great Britain they do as well as a few others I can't name off the top of my head.

So if you want to get married right now you can come north to do it.

I am a supporter but I don't really plan to marry at this time...who knows things change. Some are for it and some against it even in our GLBT community. But we deserve the right.

They DO have a right to get married! With love it doesnt matter race, gender, or anything! Just that you love eachother! These people who dont belive in gay marriges are just unconfortable with it! That does not give them the right to interfere with other people'd happiness.

They say its for religious reasons, but yet they want to take GOD out of the pledge of allegiance, Christmas etc......

Talk about Goverment Contradiction Hypocrisy

I think domestic partnerships are legal in some states though.

because they are not marriages. Marriage is between man and a woman,, anything else is a travesty and a sham.thats like asking "why can't I marry my shoe?"

They have every right to get married. I personally see no problem with it.

Beats me. The Constitution is supposed to give the same righst to everyone.

Note that those who would ban same-gender marriage would have to AMEND the Constitution to support their hatreds.

It is because moral conservatives think it is wrong. I do not agree with the religious right dictating laws to me.
