Homosexuality has been around since the beginning of time, yet people still try to convince others that it is a disease or a sin, or my absolute favorite, a choice. Why can't people see that homosexuality is here for a reason? If there wasn't a scientific reason as to why homosexuality exists, natural selection would have eliminated it altogether. Recently, I have heard discussions about altering genes to change a persons sexuality or to prevent gay babies from being born. I feel that if this is actually done, it could seriously affect our population.

I think homosexuality is wrong, and I do not think homosexuals should be allowed to "marry", but I also think people like Britney Spears should not be allowed to "marry" for 24 hours than get a divorce. There should be a separate ceremony for such things.

I do not think homosexuality in the media is a good idea because it makes homosexuality almost desirable, and it may lead otherwise straight children to mistakenly question their sexuality.

However, whenever I express these views, I get labeled as homosexual. I am not a racist, but I believe that black people to not call racists "black", because that is a ridiculous argument. In the same way, it is ridiculous to call someone like me gay. That is called stereotyping.

I know i am going to hear "most homophones are gay", but
1) I am not a homophobe
2) I am not gay

Can't you guys get it?

Do they view it as an intimidation to their own masculinity or what? Or is it that they always show the "femme lesbian" (although I think most of them aren't even real lesbians) in porn and that's what guys view as "sexy"? I just don't get it.

Girl, Late teens
Earlier this year, I started to kind of have feelings for this girl and couldnt stop thinking about her. I had just met her, but I immediatly started to ask if I were gay. I had been looking at women before and remember how beautiful and kind they were, but I thought that was normal. But after about a few months I got really frustrated with the girl and now I dont even talk to her, and I dont know why. I thought it was just a phase, but I still looked at women the same way.
Then, until recently, I started to really think something would work out with one of my boy friends. It was great. But now I am not so sure. There is another girl that I cant stop thinking about. And I think she's perfect. I just love being around her and looking at her.
Has anyone else gone through this back and forth thing? Its awkward for me, that I cant decide.

While it is obvious that homophobia decreases slowly but surely in this country and the 40 and under generations are much much less bigoted than their elders, homophobia does still exist. Why is it typically men who are more homophobic than women? Not that there aren't bigoted women but there are more men who fit that sad description. I wonder why?

right to male-only events, facilities, etc.?

This is a serious question. If you answer, please answer from the point of view of fairness, justice, general principles etc. I'm not interested in answers where someone states that being around men makes them feel creeped out, etc. I'm asking is this fair, and if so, why?

I belive that it is immoral and that it is a sickness that needs medical help but those who choose not to go to seek help and consider it normal is wrong. in any religion there is only men and women proof that is logical mating that creates babies not man/man or women/women. I belive that who are gay choose to be gay and that is it.

people say being christian is doing what Jesus did (that includes dying then raising from the grave, yeah right like that's realistically possible), some say doing what God would do or doing humane and loving things. For example, someone would say to a gay person that they're not christians because they're gay and Jesus wouldn't like that. But chrisians should be considerate and loving to other people, including gay people, not bashing them. Bashing gay people isn't humane so they're not christians to me.

there are so many hateful people in the world, including conservative christians and homophobic people. I try hard to give them links and educate them about homosexuality, what God and the Bible really says about homosexuality and people are always like "but the bible says being a homosexual is a sin and you will go to hell!" You explain things, give them references and information and links but they still argue back like you can't get through them. How can we make people understand homosexuality and the relation between that and god? How do we change their attitudes? Hating gay people, killing or torturing them doesn't make things better.

Ok so im gay my cousin got kicked out of the house when he was outed by his distant cousin that found his myspace so now he lives with us temporarily until he gets his life on track. My cousin is very attractive has a body out of this world is pretty darn close to perfection. But then i met his boyfriend who i belive makes Brad Pitt look like a dog. So ive fell totally head over heels for him. So when my cousin and parents were gone he came over and said he would wait for my cuz we started talking then i flirtatiously grabbed his arm muscles(keep in mind im in the close). He whispered in my ear your crushin arnt you. I said your not mad are you then he said im flattered. He could see me buldging because all i had was gym shorts on and he did to because all he had on was a soccer uniform so when i was buldging he started to also he took his shirt and shorts of we were in such a rush he didnt even take his shinguards and sock and shoes off we ran up stairs and hooked up in my moms room.
