I have a really close friend, but I can't really tell if she is gay or not... She is not very masculine at all...

What are some (obvious or not so obvious) signs that a girl is gay?

(I'm not going to ask her if she is or is not gay.... that's completely out of the question)

I'm a guy who likes women. There is a specific woman that I like beyond the rest, and I married her. I am still interested in other women, but I don't pursue that interest.

It seems to me that homosexuality and bisexuality are distinctly different. Homosexuals and heterosexuals are attracted to a specific gender. It is not a matter of choosing what they are attracted to. Bisexuals are attracted to both.. and thus they have a choice of which gender they wish to become physically and emotionally intimate with. They may have not chosen to be attracted to both genders, but they do have a choice between which interests they pursue.

I didn't want to sound argumentative or judgemental, so I'll pose the question once more: Do bisexuals feel obligated to pursue both sexes just because they are attracted to them?

My best friend and his boyfriend recently had sex for the first time in their relationship. My friend is 18 and his boyfriend is 15. My friend's parents are not okay with him being gay and are threatening to press charges against him. They sent him to a therapist who, after she talked to him, called an attourney on behalf of his parents. (She turned out not to be a licensed therapist.) Could he be accused of statutory rape or a "crime against nature"? We live in North Carolina.

My best friend needs help, she thinks her brother is gay, but she is scared to ask him directly because if it's false she'll be very embarassed in front of him. Im a 16 year old 5'7 male and weigh 190lbs and want to loose some weight and start working out. I know for my height i shouldnt be more then 160lbs but what weight do you guys think i would look good at toned up? I dont mean totally ripped but just a nice toned body, nothing to much. Just like going to the gym 2-3 times a week and workout on the bikes for about 20-30 mins and working out for about 45mins for about 3-4 months then i would slow down to like 1 time a week or 2 after 3-4 months. So what weight would i look good at with some muscle mass and toned up?

I am a straight man but it is frustrating for me to hear candidates say the support civil unions but are against gay marriage. They seem to expect thanks but it sounds to me like they are saying we support gay Americans beeing treated as near citizens but not full citizens.

It seems like the ultimate height of ignorance to think people choose their sexual orientation. I certainly never made a conscious decision as to which gender I am and am not sexually attracted to and could never change this part of me. And thats what sexual orientation is based on - attraction for one gender and not the other (unless you are bi). So it baffles me people can so blindly believe otherwise.
