If so how can you purchase one? My girlfriend and I want to have a baby and have a donor but just don't have the money to have the procedure done and I heard some thing about a home fertilization kit.

Neither one of us wants to have sex with a guy so please don't mention it.

I've never heard of a home fertilization kit. Maybe someone realized they could make money off of marketing turkey basters as fertilization kits? :)

Turkey baster, needleless syringe, anything that you can stick up there so that the end is right near your cervix that also has enough room in the tube for the ejaculate. Have the guy do his thing, put it in the baster or whatever, stick it right up there, and squeeze.

Make sure you do it right after the guy fills the baster because you want your semen fresh. Then stay lying on your back for a while with your hips propped up a bit in order to give the little guys the best chance possible.

Like someone else mentioned make sure you talk with a lawyer and get a legal document so the donor can sign away his parental rights. It's not unusual for a donor to change his mind about wanting the baby after the baby is born

People have been getting pregnant this way for decades. It works well for a lot of people. I wish you two the best of luck! :)

I'm going to be blunt. If you don't have the money to have this done properly in a doctors office, how will you have the money to properly care for a child. There are too many things that can go wrong if you do it at home. It's not worth saving some money to put that unborn baby into any unnecessary danger.

Use a big syringe. But first of all make a legal agreement with the father over parenting rights etc. I know you want the child with your partner, but what if he turns around in a few years time and claims to be the father and wants his parental rights too?

Get a nice kitten or a dog. Find some guy you really admire and get him to pass along his qualities. You really want a baby who's father might be some serial killer?

There's a nervous joke above me about a turkey baster....but that's what it boils down to.

I'm sure lesbian web sites can provide details.
