I have a really close friend, but I can't really tell if she is gay or not... She is not very masculine at all...
What are some (obvious or not so obvious) signs that a girl is gay?
(I'm not going to ask her if she is or is not gay.... that's completely out of the question)

Most lesbians you can never recognize. They look just like any heterosexual woman. But some might be recognized by multiple ear-rings on one ear, tattoos and masculine clothing, such as pants.

So, if ;you're not comfortable asking your friend if she is gay(not to be rude, but are you interested in her hence your question?) why do you need answers that may or may not be on the mark? If there were a set number of things that listed a person as homosexual, don't you think it would be a bit more common knowledge by now? Just ask her. And tell her the truth when she asks why you're asking her this question!
