I'm a 17 year old male who has been really depressed lately. My main reason for feeling this way is because I honestly don't like who I am. I hate the fact that I'm a male for some reason. It just eats away at me inside and I don't know what to do. The problem is I would never want to become a transsexual because it's just not natural to me. This really bothers me and sometimes I just don't know what to do. So, does anyone know of anything at all I could do to make me feel better about my gender or something?

I noticed that there are a lot of bisexual people these days. If that person wants a committed relationship to one person, how does the person choose which gender they want to be with? I don't understand. Maybe someone who is one can clarify.

Since the Gays and Lesbians started moving in our neighborhood, I've noticed that it's starting to look less ghetto-like! I asked my Pastor (Rev. Sweetlove) and he wasn't sure. How do you make all people welcome especially Gays, Lesbians, Bisexual, & Transgender people feel most welcome? How do you say thanks for making my neighborhood a beautiful and livable place?

Sorry, it's a term that came up tonight while I was at a friends house. There was a guy there who a few of us don't particularly like (just because of what he did to a friend of ours)

Anyway, he started in on his usual rant against straight people and I asked him if he's a closet hetrophobe...I'm straight and he thinks I shouldn't be 'part of the group' because of that...He said no and that I was stupid for thinking so.

I'm just wondering what to do about it. I love my mate but he's her brother so they kind of come as a package. We've tried to see her on her own, but he always tags along. While at first we tried to make him welcome, he just doesn't try to make friends. He's a bit abrasive.

So how can we either make him feel welcome or 'deal' with him?

...and have you ever heard the term 'hetrophobe'?

I have always read that canada's identity is just that they are just not american. It seems that canada is obsessed with saying they are not american. Is this true. If not how would canadians describe their identity.

my intention is NOT to stir ANY arguments, but to state a thought that just crossed my mind. a few sessions ago in my anthropology class, my professor stated that supporters pay attention to only the pieces that fit and ignore parts that don't fit (he was talking about believers/followers of nostradaumus, which isn't exactly the same, but do you see my point?)

the bible could mean anything (no offense to anyone) and was written many years -linguistics are very different nowadays -, so to say a verse citing that homosexuality is wrong and using "the bible said so" as justification isn't always going to go well with everyone.

WHY is the bible right? If it was written any other way, if it CLEARLY stated homosexuality should be celebrated, would you believe that? we do not even know how the earth was surely created, how can we know what happened/was said at the beginning of time?

no arguing, please...just let me hear your thoughts

In the first season Jenny seemed straight/bi-curious, then near the end of season 1 she was bisexual... Now on Season 3/4 is she lesbian? She told Myra/Max she couldnt be with her/him because he is more like a guy now.

seek out some sort of a beginning step towards equal rights in your area? I live in a place where if I stand on the roof of my house I can see places where civil unions or same sex marriage is perfectly legitimate. It seems really silly to have a line in the sand tell me that I am somehow less equal because of real estate.

Considering that there are many more straight bars than gay, and that a good bartender can make lots of dough in ANY successful bar, isn't it likely that "straight" bartenders in gay bars [despite any wives or girlfriends] are really bisexual, bi-curious, or simply gay and loving the atmosphere but sadly unable to take that first step to come out proudly?

I'm 15 years old and for the past couple of years i've been sexually attracted to men. By no means do i want to live that lifestye. I don't have anything wrong with homosexuals but I don't want to be this way. My family would disown me if I was. Not just my parents, but my entire extended family. Everyone's very religious and I am somewhat too. Also I see my future as getting married and starting my own family and having children, but I can't see that happening if i'm gay. Is there any way I can change?
