I think in all countries in the world,women or female are more than male because :
1)the birth rate of female is higher than male
2)female sperms can last in 48 hours while male sperms can only last in 24 hours in the womb or uterus.
3)female before menopause will have a monthly menstruation so her blood is continuing to be a renewed
4)most female have a habit to eat vegetables
5)female has fewer stress than male
6)male has consumed more enegy than female in his everyday of life.

are you asking only about homosexuals? or does this question include heterosexuals as well?
Of all humans, gay and straight and bisexual and asexual, I think there are more males than females. Becuase in some countries, like in Asia countries, many girl babies are killed after they are born because they rather have sons than daughters to be able to carry on the family name and genes.

Your question could be construed in two different ways that I immediately noticed.
If you are asking which sex is more prevalent on the planet, I would say female because there are more of us than men. I think it's close to 2-to1 or something like that. Men carry the gene to make men, we don't. Apparently not too many of their male swimmers make the cut.
If you are asking which sex to be is better (greater), I would also say female because we bring life into the world-with nothing but a 15 seconds of help from men, if that. No matter how strong a man is, he cannot create and nurture life. (Although, I wish they could).
