I have two children. I told them when they were 10 and 11. The oldest one said, "I already suspected that." The youngest said, "Is that all you wanted to tell me? Can I go back to my game now?" They still love me. They still choose to live with me over their father. Children, if raised correctly, do tend to react better than adults. The adults already have preconceived ideas and hatred. My mother still has a problem and I told her long before I tild my children.

I anticipate that once my toddlers are of highschool age they could be raised properly adequate to react to a challenge like that throughout the time of a in charge way. Like... if it minor to easily over seem it. If its extra extreme to ask for extra comprehend from the extra youthful sibling, or be even smarter approximately it and "distract" the sibling with some thing else. It additionally might rely on if I left the older sibling in fee. so a great way as different kinfolk adults are in contact... I anticipate my infant to obey them. except it relatively is relatively outlandish. & back, based if I left that individual in fee of my toddlers. i do no longer self-discipline different peoples toddlers, except they're being risky to themselves, or somebody else. basically the way i'm. i might have a difficulty if yet another person scolded my infant harshly... i think of if any reprimand is due it would continuously be minimum & extreme offenses are to be dealt with later via the mothers and fathers. basically make it wide-unfold what you sense is ideal on your toddlers.

I am pretty sure my boyfriends son is gay. He is not going to come out until he gets out of high shool and gets on his own.
When he comes out, all hell is going to break loose because his dad is such a he man chauvinist jack a.ss.
I plan to stand by this kid no matter what. He may never come out. I am as sure he is gay as I am sure my socks are white.
I feel for him. I would not want to be in his shoes.

I was in my bedroom with two of my brothers, it was late on a saturday night, one was older, one was younger, we shared the room and chores came early in the moring. our eldest brother was getting married in the morning. the rehersal dinner was that night. I forget what one of them said but I asked in response how they would feel if I told them I was in love too. They both jumped out of their beds on onto mine, all excited. I then asked how they would feel about if it I told them it was a guy. The older one said that they had wondered about that because they read my mail. I wasn't pissed, but i never read their mail, anyhow, they didn't really care because they siad they already knew. a few weeks before another brother who didn't share the room came home to find me and my guy making out on the couch, and he brought his high school football team with him for a party when no on was supposed to be home. the party happened and somehow it was busted and I wasn't at the time until I brought it up. and that was the end of that until I had my talk with Dad. Dad was cool. The wedding was awesome.

from my experience, kids take it much better than adults....they don't have the prejudices that adults often have......my boys were fine with me living with another woman for 5 years in a relationship

"betta" Please tell me you mean to say "better"

Anyway...
Actually my son took it just as well as my parents. My parents simply looked at me and said: "Duh. What took you so long to figure it out."

My son just smiled at me and said: "Ok...she's nice"
He was very young at the time and simply didn't see a problem with it as long as I was happy and he was cared for and loved.
Even though my ex (his father) has openly stated on several occassions how much he hates the idea of gays (not that he actually hates gays...simply because he had never known of any personally)...my son wasn't raised to hate anyone for any reason.
