when people that are getting married out of there own race dont you think that mixed kids will get picked on just as well as kids that have to moms/dads i just dont understand why people are so rude let poeple be do what they may as long as they are happy and i hate when peole say that what god wanted i dont think gays just say o i want to be gay i think they are born that way and if god loves all of us why would people say its wronge hello has anyone on here seen god no so why judge other?

I had some good lesbian friends in high school. These were not bi-sexual girls, they were lesbians. I noticed a pattern in that they would prey upon girls who were confused about their sexuality in hopes of converting them to the other side. It never lasted more than a few months before the girls had realized that they weren't in fact gay, but had been taken advantage of. I also realized the irony that the tactics these girls used to sway their vitims, were the same things they claimed to despise males for. Why do lesbians do this?

Why do so many people who post to this site seem to make an automatic connection between being gay and being promiscuous?

I have even been told that a celebate lesbian (like me) is a "contradiction in terms".

Any sensible comments from anyone?

It doesnt matter... we have the freedom to do what we want....I have friends who knew when they were young kids and I see adults changing their lives from hetro to gay lifestyles....we have to stop feeding into the heteros always wandering why and how did we get there?....because we can.....was it a choice?...were we born that way?....does it matter?

A friend of mine was always into men, and was homophobic at one point. Then, she moved out of her parent's house, and after I lost touch with her for about a year, we reconnected again and she told me she now had a girlfriend. I thought it was some sort of phase since she's always been attracted to men and looked down upon homosexuality. However, her last few relationships have all been with girls and the last one has been going strong for nearly 2 yrs. I'm trying to be supportive of her, but I think she's kidding herself and that the only reason she suddenly became gay is because she has had bad experiences getting burned by men in the past. I feel that her sudden sexual reorientation is not authentic given her track record. Is it possible for someone to suddenly realize they're gay after 20 yrs? I would really appreciate some constructive feedback here.
