Actually, I think it would be the other way around. If there were no homophobia then the bible would say nothing about homosexuality.

Homophobia is real just like homosexuality is real. Homophobia is simply just natural reactions to unnatural actions. Whether it existed before or after writings, the very first sight and thought of homosexuality has been appalling. Though hate isnt necessary nor appropriate of homosexuals as people, their actions of homosexuality are definitely vile. Nonetheless, homosexuals are people, and people will relentlessly attempt to justify doing what they want to do no matter what anyone else thinks (isnt this what homosexuality stands for? doing what one wants even if its sordid?) So whether it is the teachings of the Bible or any other book, homosexuals are going to promote the notion that no matter what they do homosexually, they shouldnt be scorned nor passed judgment on.

Sure there would be. Homophobics have misinterpreted the Bible to justify their hatred. Actually, the Bible isn't against homosexuality. Even if there wasn't anything about it in the Bible, people would find a reason to hate it.

A. Mercer hit the proverbial nail on the head, and contrary to what some Christians may say about the chicken and the egg, that analogy won't work, in this case, the egg (homophobia) came long before the chicken (religious writings)

There would still be homophobia. People would still need something to hate.

Yes. Insecure people need someone to hate to make themselves feel better.

That doesn't make sense. If homosexuality were normal, God wouldn't condemn it. It is a relationship void or bearing fruit and is therefore unnatural. I know you will disagree with me, but I honestly do not hate homosexuals. I love you as God loves you. I only pray that you seek out and find the truth. i will not call you names or condone anyone doing so. I just believe that the Lord God didn't create men and women to burn in lust for the same sex. I know that God gives us free will to choose, and that is what you men and women have chosen. God is a good God and will forgive sins, if you repent and turn away from your ways.
