I was 23. He was 15. We are both male. Within a few weeks we were madly in love. It lasted 15 years but we never had sex. Not that we didn't want it. Has this happened to anyone else?

A similar but not exact situation happened to me. We were closer in age, it lasted less than a year, and our two attempts at sex were disasters. Turns out he was more in love with the idea of being a couple than he was in love with me.

I had a friendship that lasted years because we didn't have sex. He finally moved far away and we lost touch. His partner was so jealous of our close relationship it got ugly.
