Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - January 2007

Is it wrong to want to be the opposite sex... i.e. MTF and if not how can you tell your parents this and get help?????

Are people really born gay/straight or do they find out their attractions(straight,gay,elezbian,bisexual) later on in life? because when i was 5 i wasn't attracted to anybody yet (not like that i mean) till i was like 13. we might had been born with are bodies made 2 make babies with the opposite sex......but were we born to LOVE as straight people? Or even born 2 love as gay, elezbian, or bisexual people?

I hate how I look down town. Husband says if he didnt like it,the relationship wouldnt have continued. But I still cant help feeling unfeminine. I want surgery to make it smaller,husband says no way,he loves it. It dosent hang,not that bad but its fuller than Id like. He says they call it a "loaf of bread". At least where he's from. Seriously,should I still get the surgery or is it fine like it is?

We have a son who will be 4 in April and our daughter will be 2 & ½. A very close friend of ours came out to us a couple years ago that he dresses as a woman and would one day like to be a woman. At that time we said that he could dress however he wanted in front of our children so that they would grow up accustomed to it. Because he wasn’t out to everyone, he didn’t often do this.

Now he is going to come out to everyone this year and has started taking hormones. I expect that we will be seeing him dressed as a woman more and more often especially as he will start to look more and more like a woman as the year progresses.

Here’s my question:

My kids call him Uncle Todd. How do we transition to Auntie Brie without confusing the heck out of them?

Ok I have this good relationship with my old best friend he was gay or bi and we ended up getting together he says he loves me …. I went for the relationship and now I have been trying for a 3-some he does not want to…. But told me that in the future we could go and do our thing and then come home to the same bed … what do you think about this? There's all this going on about gays and adopting, and I've got very clear views on this: why should a homosexual couple be any less suitable to raise a child than a heterosexual one? As long as they are financially stable and loving, why shouldn't they be allowed? isn't a stable gay couple even better than a straight one which perhaps isn't as suited to look after a child? Also, how is it that single gays are allowed to asopt, but couple aren't? just because he/she is living as a single person, doesn't mean they won't be having sex. I think this is ridiculous, and I'd quite like to hear what others think.
