I hope I'm understanding your question correctly... Do you want to know why a man should date/marry a woman who comes from a failed marriage?

Nice people divorce all the time. It isn't always an issue of one person's character. A marriage fails when two people can't make it work, or when the marriage was a bad idea in the first place. It isn't fair to hold that against one spouse - and to declare that person unable to be successful in marriage.

In other words, go ahead and see a woman whose marriage failed. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with her. And it certainly doesn't mean she won't make a great mate for another man.

(So sorry... I didn't notice the category before, and assumed a heterosexual pair... but the theory behind the answer is the same).

Hello, this is the 21st century, a woman that is coming out of a failed marriage should be more than able to look after herself and doesn't need to the "looked after".

I agree with the majority of the ppl who say look after yourself!

But when my mum got a divorce, she needed all the looking after that she could get.....and I know it doesnt sound emotionally healthy, but she leaned on me more than herself....I took care of her more than she did herself....

I believe women taking care of themselves these days is most common....I dont hear your question too often....
