Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - January 2007

Don't think I'm racist because I'm not. I love men and women of all cultures. But I have yet to meet a Indian woman who is bi or lesbian. I don't even know of any bi or gay Indian men. Where are they? I would love to meet one and talk with them. Or a Asian woman who is bi or lesbian. And I have found that it seems the nationality that have the strongest cultural background are the ones we never see come out and say they are bi or gay. So anyway, my question is where are all my beautiful bi and lesbian or gay Indian and Asian people at? Stop by and say hello.

I was reading an article which said of gossip and secrets that they did just that..put a person in a superior position because they had knowledge that the other person did not. Do you think that any of this relates to homophobia or the fundamentalists...that they feel that they have to look down on someone. Is this part of the 'human condition'.

One of my very best friends is in the process of doing hormone replacemtnt therapy. She was born male. I do refer to her as HER. The only thing is that I have not seen her yet and I am hoping to still be the same as in the past with her. I am very open minded but I do not wnat to say or do anything to make her feel uncomfortable. Like I am not sure what questions are ok to ask.

It seems that most straight and gay people feel that you cannot honestly be bisexual. But is that true? If I honestly think about it I think that it is completely possible(expereince speaking here)

...if they ask a question that is completely stupid and ignorant? For example if a 14 year old girl who likes some boy asks, "I like this boy, but he wore a pink shirt yesterday... is he gay?" Is it okay that I feel totally superior and to make fun of her for seriously asking that question?

There's this girl at school, and I think she likes me but I'm not sure. She tries to make me laugh, and always asks me how I am, and is so nice to me. Even though there are people that surround everyday I feel like I am always by myself. I don't have any friends because I stay cooped up in my house The only time that I go outside is to go to my job. (which I love by the way.) I just wish I can have someone in my life that can just pick me up from this heavy blanket of sadness. but I don't know how to attract the right person. Please someone help. Family aren't friends. Unless the gay community get more actively involved in issues outside their cause movements like terrorism and these truely evil
individuals will thrive.Ignore the fundamentalists but help deal with these evils.You have resources and you have the money.
