There's this girl at school, and I think she likes me but I'm not sure. She tries to make me laugh, and always asks me how I am, and is so nice to me. It sounds like a friendship, except that she gets really nervous around me, she stares and doesn't turn away when I catch her, and usually gets relatively close to me.

The real question you should ask yourself is how you act around her. Are you giving off body language that you like her? Maybe she is picking up off that and is interested. Chances are-she sees you staring at her staring at you. (confused yet?)
If you like her, you could just show you like her by being a really awesome friend first. Get to know her and then see what happens from there. I wish you luck in your endeavors.

It sounds to me that she might like you, but at the same time she could just be really friendly. . .I would ask her out, or maybe hangout outside of the class room, give her your number, talk to her outside of the class.....

maybe yes maybe not, you have to find out :p i mean you can't say if shes interested just bcoz she ask how are you. ask her out then you'll know.
