I am really upset about this and I feel ugly and inadequate. I'm afraid it will always be like this.

can you tell if someone is gay? if so how can you tell? what were the first signs? are YOU okay being friends with someone that goes for the same sex? Do you treat these people different?
is anyone in your family gay? if so how does your family treat this person? i know i have asked alot to this one, but im doing a essay on people's reaction to gay people.
all the information you can give me would be fantastic.

I'm what you'd call a "f*g hag". My best friend (for 8 years now - we're both 24) is a closet gay guy. His parents and co-workers think I'm his live-in girlfriend. Things are great between us - we are both single and sharing an apartment (yea I know, just like Will & Grace). But lately he's been hinting that he would like to experiment pseudo-sexually with me. Like when we've looked at some gay porn pictures together he has "jokingly" suggested we masturbate together. And many other such things.

I actually don't hate the idea. I'm not phsyically attracted to him, but it seems like it would be kinda "kinky" to do some foreplay-level sex stuff with him. On the otherhand, it seems like this could possibly open god-knows what can of worms (embarassment, jealousy, etc?). I don't want things to be uncomfortable between us.

So what do you think? Is it okay? I don't want to make a big fuss about it with him either way, because that would look like I thought it thru way too much lol.

I vote for all the people that are bothering this section with there dumb stuff to get the f**** out of hear if Ur. against gays get out don’t come hear and bother every one ELS. we've been together for a little over a year now, it's long distance and ive been there several times,.. and she came here and is also flying down on xmas day. recently-- her ex gf has called-- and tried to feed her a line of B.S. about how she has changed and how much she misses her and loves her..ive seen the conversation since it was on the computer-- and i know that she is trying to let her down easy.. why is it so hard to tell your ex to just quit. to leave u alone. i know she loves me-- we've been through a lot-- even with my ex so guess what goes around comes around--- but now i ask.. she mentioned that she found that she would love her ex's more when they would be mean to her and act like they dont care.. should i do the same?? not call and just wait for her to and then pretend im too busy? but its so hard-- i find myself constantly thinking ab her-- and wanting to call..i want to be the "tough" one since obviously im the butch and shes the femme.. any advice? appreciate it

First off I must say this is a serious question and I am really not trying to offend anyone in any way..........

Tonight my wife and I were eating dinner out at a restaraunt and there were a couple women sitting at a table in front of us. There appeared to be lesbian by there manurisms towards each other and so on....no big deal, neither my wife nor I have any problems with that. What we started to question was the hair style....I know this sounds funny but we were seriously wondering why so many lesbians like the mullet? Can anyone shed some light on that? Is there a reason that is the prefered hairstyle?

Ok what is wrong with people why do they think that gays are different from other people. We are the same made out of bone, blood, felling, etc. my uncles is gay and that docent change him for nothing and I still love him “blood is thicker than water” but why all these attacks? I try to see things from everyone`s point of view, so I want some help here.
Isn`t the United States supposed to have freedom? Shouldn`t that include choosing who you marry? We have seperation of church and state, so why do people think that religion is a good reason?

In nearly all jurisdictions homosexual (and in some cases, mixed race or mixed faith) couples are prevented from enjoying the same marriage right heterosexual couples do. Ok I would call my self heterosexual.
